Notes on Kanas Tourism

In fact, there is one more thing to pay attention to about Kanas. Bian Xiao will tell you what you need to pay attention to in food, clothing, housing and transportation. In short, everyone must pay attention when going out.

Dressing Guide: Many friends living in the south are afraid of the cold winter in the north, and always feel that it is not the place where human beings live. In fact, most northerners are not as hardy as southerners, especially northerners in central provinces. Because there is always heating in the north, you can wear underwear even indoors. When the outdoor air is dry and cold, I personally feel that Kanas is MINUS 20 degrees, which is better than Shanghai's 0 degrees.

But it is also an objective fact that Kanas is cold in winter, and it is still very cold after staying outdoors for a long time. Generally, if you protect your ears, nose, cheeks, toes and other cold organs, there will be no big problem. Suggestion:

Coat: thermal underwear+fleece+long thick hooded down jacket

Pants: velvet leggings+velvet jeans

Shoes: Gao Bang snow boots (or low-grade snow boots+snow cover)+thick socks.

Xinjiang network is 3G! Even if it was originally 4G entering Xinjiang, it will become 3G and 2G in one second! So prepare a mobile WiFi, remember to bring a charging treasure, especially those who love to take pictures, and bring two more.

Others:

1, wool hat/Lei Feng hat/dog skin hat (the kind that can protect ears), thick scarf, thick gloves.

2. Keep your baby warm (there are many on Taobao, and girls who are afraid of the cold can bring a little)

3. Sunglasses (snow blindness)

4. High-magnification sunscreen, hand cream and lip balm (anti-drying)

5, insulated water bottle (it is always comfortable to drink hot water in cold weather, and you can also splash water into ice fog)

Tips:

Sometimes it doesn't matter to take off the hat/mask/scarf temporarily in order to take a good photo. Think of the 24 million people living in Xinjiang. They are all alive and well, and so can you.

Travel only needs to pay attention to a few things-food, clothing, housing and transportation.

Clothing: The temperature in Kanas mountain area is about 10 degrees lower than that in Urumqi, and all kinds of warm clothes (down jacket, jacket, thermal underwear, fleece coat, hiking shoes or snow boots for middle school students, gloves, thick socks, thick hats, etc. ) both.

Food: Xinjiang's diet is mainly mutton, and vegetables are mainly cabbage. The variety is relatively single, so prepare more snacks.

Accommodation: There are relatively few tourists in winter, so there is no need to book accommodation in advance. According to different accommodation conditions and different prices, it is recommended to stay in local villagers' cabins, if modern standard rooms can't understand local folk customs. (The cabins are all heated kang, with snow outside and "spring in March" indoors)

Ok: The traffic in Xinjiang has always been inconvenient. In winter, the official shuttle bus in Kanas scenic spot stops operating, and only cars can travel between scenic spots. If it is simply carpooling, it will waste a lot of time. It is recommended to charter the whole journey. The mountainous areas are mostly Panshan highways, and for safety reasons, the traffic requirements must be off-road vehicles. Private cars are feasible in winter off-season scenic spots (you must take the scenic shuttle bus in peak season). Locals often run this road and are familiar with the road conditions. Some places are still dangerous. Or cooperate with travel agencies, clubs and other groups to save a lot of tedious steps in booking rooms and cars.
