1985 China National Tourism Administration decided to choose Ma Chaolongque as the graphic symbol of China tourism. Ma Chao's lark was once named "Horse Stepping on Swallow". After historical research, Zhang Heng's Ode to Tokyo in the Eastern Han Dynasty said: "Bailing Pingqu, Ma Banhan." The Book of the Later Han Dynasty also recorded that "Ming Di went to Chang 'an, married Fei Lian and became a bronze horse", so it was renamed "Ma Chao Long Que".

Choose "Maque" as the graphic symbol of China tourism, which means:

1. It flies in the sky, symbolizing the bright future of China's tourism industry.

2. Horses are an important tool for ancient and modern tourism and a symbol of hard work. Tourists can enjoy their trip in China.

3. The bronze products of Ma Chaolong Que symbolize the splendid cultural history of China for thousands of years, showing the great image of an ancient civilization and attracting tourists from all over the world.
