The difference between travel and tourism

The production time is different and the emphasis is different.

1, produced at a different time: travel appeared earlier than tourism. Travel originated in the late primitive society. When human beings developed to the late primitive society, social productive forces improved significantly, which not only provided the possibility for commodity production and exchange, but also provided material conditions for travel activities. With the support of material conditions, the scope of human activities began to expand gradually, and various out-going activities with transactional purposes appeared, such as sacrifice, exploration, war, emissaries, commerce and so on. This kind of space movement from residence to destination is what we often call travel. The earliest forms of travel began to appear. Tourism is different from ordinary travel, and its particularity lies in leisure. When a tourism activity is mixed with leisure activities or evolved from leisure activities, it can basically be judged that tourism activities are produced. It can be seen that the emergence of tourism is later than tourism.

2. Different emphases: both travel and tourism need to leave the place where they live and go out to feel the feelings brought by the natural world or human landscape. But travel pays more attention to the process, and tourism pays more attention to the destination.
