Collection of tourist maps of Tibet: Sichuan, Tianjin and Qinghai are just routine routes, and the Great Ring Road of Ali is the ultimate challenge.

Tibet tourism, beautiful scenery on the road, rather than a fixed scenic spot, so going to road trip is the main way of Tibet tourism. Self-driving Tibet involves many tourist routes, such as 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line, 109 Qinghai-Tibet line and 2 14 Yunnan-Tibet line. The deeper lines are 3 17 Sichuan-Tibet North Line, Bingcha Line and 2 19 Xinzang Line. The deepest route is the "Ali Great Ring Road".

Sichuan, Tianjin and Qing Chu, that is, when driving in Tibet, you enter Tibet from Sichuan and then go out from Qinghai. It is mainly composed of 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line and 109 Qinghai-Tibet line. The whole journey is about 5,000 kilometers, and it takes 15- 18 days to drive by car. Its tourist landscape can be divided into three parts.

Part I: Start from Chengdu, Sichuan, drive all the way for 9- 10 days, and enter Lhasa, Tibet along the 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line. After passing through Shangri-La area in western Sichuan, Hengduan Mountains, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and three parallel rivers, you can visit the scenery of Kangding xinduqiao, Ganzi Daocheng Yading and Linzhi, Tibet, with the visual impression of glaciers, snow-capped mountains, grasslands, canyons and lakes.

Part II: After arriving in Lhasa, Tibet, I will stay for 2-3 days and visit the local natural scenery and cultural landscape in Lhasa, Tibet, including Yang Zhuo Yongcuo, Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street and other scenic spots. Tourism elements are more inclined to the local cultural customs and living atmosphere in Lhasa.

Part III: Drive from Lhasa for 5-7 days, along the 109 Qinghai-Tibet line, cross Kunlun Mountain, Hoh Xil Nature Reserve, Qinghai and other places, and visit Namco, Chaka Salt Lake, Qinghai Lake and other scenic spots all the way. The landscape features are mainly the ancient wasteland, the northwest no man's land ravaged by sandstorms, and the quiet and boundless Gobi desert.

The Sichuan-Tibet line is a broad word, which means "all routes from Sichuan to Tibet" and has a large number of permutations and combinations. Some lines are intertwined with township roads, county roads and national roads, while others go all the way. For example, the southern section of the 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line and the northern section of the 3 17 Sichuan-Tibet line are typical of the latter, which is convenient for travelers to plan their travel routes in Tibet more simply and clearly.

There is little difference in mileage between the southern section of 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line and the northern section of 3 17 Sichuan-Tibet line, both of which are about 2,300 kilometers, and both need to drive for about 10 days. At altitude, the northern part of the 3 17 Sichuan-Tibet line is slightly higher; In terms of road conditions, the northern part of the 3 17 Sichuan-Tibet line is steep and muddy; In terms of scenery, the northern line of Sichuan-Tibet 3 17 is more inclined to human temples, and the southern line of Sichuan-Tibet 3 18 is more full of natural scenery. In this way, when most hikers drive the Sichuan-Tibet line for the first time, they will naturally choose the 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line, which is often referred to as the "3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line".

Both routes are from Kunming, Yunnan to Lhasa, Tibet. If the Yunnan-Tibet line is regarded as "the southern section of the 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line", then bing cha is like "the northern section of the 3 17 Sichuan-Tibet line". The Yunnan-Tibet line is superior to Pachecha in road conditions, altitude and other self-driving environments, but why is Pachecha so famous?

Bingchaben is an unknown mountain road, which was gradually named after "tea surplus, tea Huarong and Luo in the ice", and now it has been officially named "New Yunnan-Tibet Passage". The charm of iced tea lies in its quicksand, dangerous cliffs and dangerous roads along the river, and the undeveloped desolate scenery near the tea residue. Self-driving Tripcha is a challenging self-driving route, which can better experience the excitement of outdoor go road trip than any other self-driving route into Tibet.

It is not difficult to drive by car on the new Tibet line. There are no cliffs, falling rocks and quicksand sections, and the road surface is flat and solid. But it is more difficult for you to open the new Tibet line than to open any other line. The new Tibet line is the highest highway in the world, with an average elevation of nearly 5000 meters. The oxygen content in the air is only about 50% of that in Chengdu. Altitude sickness alone has discouraged many donkey friends, not to mention the windy, cold and hot summer environment in Qiangtang and Ali's no-man's land.

But usually, the harder it is to reach, the better the scenery. World-class scenic spots along the New Tibet Line include Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, Rinpoqi, Mabian Yongcuo, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibetan areas, and the site of the lost mysterious tribe Guge Dynasty.

People often say that traveling to Tibet is addictive. Once you go there, you will want to go there again. It's the same for me. After crossing the Sichuan-Tibet line, Yunnan-Tibet line, Xunkan line and Xinzang line, I want to further cross the Ali Great Ring Road.

It is not difficult to cross the Ali Great Ring Road. Compared with the self-driving Sichuan-Tibet line, it needs stronger professionalism and richer outdoor cross-country experience. As far as the self-driving Sichuan-Tibet line is concerned, if the car breaks down on the road, you can find a nearby garage to deal with it. If not, you can ask passers-by for help. However, the self-driving Ali Great Ring Road is different. If you encounter such an accident, you can only rely on yourself, because there is no man's land around, and it is difficult to find help.

When driving in Tibet, you don't have to stare at the top tourist route from the beginning. It's better to move forward step by step. Let's start with a little basic "Sichuan into the green leaves" and get to know Tibet slowly. After we have a deeper understanding of Tibet's scenery, humanities and feelings, and then set foot on deeper areas of Tibet step by step, we can appreciate the vastness and profundity of a land of faith. I have a long life. Try a new route once a year. Don't let the steering wheel and the beating heart rust. Let the wheels turn like the four seasons.
