Dawang Village

The origin of the village is 1.8 kilometers north-west of Jiangjiabai Temple. It is said that during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty (1821~1850), the archer named Yu moved to this place to set up a village. Because it is located near a deep and wide water collection place in the mountains, the village was named Dawang.

Population of the administrative district

The whole village has 118 acres of cultivated land. In 2006, there were 47 households in the village with a total population of 142 people, including 104 laborers.

Economic Development In 2006, the village's total grain output reached 30 tons, the total economic income was 1.5 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 6,199 yuan.
