? Traveling all over the motherland, the mountains and rivers, the different cultural landscapes and the literature and history of the past dynasties is a lifelong wish for me who loves traveling. Since we have a car at home, we like to take the car out for self-driving trips during holidays. Over the years, self-driving travel has changed our lives a lot and added a lot of happiness to our lives! I have long heard that the scenery of the grasslands in western Sichuan is charming, and it is a place you will never regret visiting. Here is a majestic and long-standing historical temple, Maiwa Temple, the largest Tibetan Nyingma monastery in northwest Sichuan, famous for its grand and spectacular architectural style, exquisite decoration, and rich collection of books and treasures! This famous temple was built in 1646 and belongs to the Zhuqing branch of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It has a history of more than 300 years. For hundreds of years, eminent monks have appeared in large numbers in the monastery, and Buddhism has flourished. Now there are more than a thousand monks in the monastery. The most eye-catching thing here is the Peace Pagoda, known as the world's largest Bodhi Pagoda. The tower is 127 meters high and is as high as a 45-story building. In our eyes, Maiwa Temple is like a paradise with mountains and rivers, blue sky and white clouds, and the scenery is very beautiful. We can see a continuous stretch of temples and houses stacked in the mountains, and the red and white walls look like an elegant splash-ink landscape. Here you can feel the brilliance of the sun and the mysterious atmosphere everywhere.

? Every summer, many people go to the grasslands in western Sichuan. In order to avoid congestion, we drove out on Friday afternoon? We drove for more than seven hours on the first day, covering almost 450 kilometers on a long-distance trip. We stayed one night in Hongyuan County and visited Maiwa Temple on the second day. Because we usually drive mostly in urban areas, we don’t have much experience on plateaus. This time we drove from Chengdu via Chengdu-Guan Expressway to Duwen Expressway, and then took Provincial Highway 209 through Li County to Hongyuan. There are many vehicles on this route, and some roads are still under construction and traffic control is implemented. The road surface is relatively narrow, and there are many steep curves. My car is relatively well-equipped, has good power, and has flexible control. I came to this beautiful place smoothly all the way. place.
