What are the basic design principles for developing leisure agricultural tourist attractions?
Ecology is the foundation and core of the development of agriculture and tourism industries. The whole process embodies "pastoral", "rural" and "ecological" and is the basic starting point for the theme selection of farm eco-tourism areas. The basic principles that should be followed when developing the design of leisure agricultural tourist attractions:
(1) Utilization of energy. Solar energy and biogas are used as much as possible, materials and energy are circulated, and zero emission of pollutants is basically achieved. Invest in the construction of sewage treatment plants, and most of the treated water quality indicators can reach first-class standards. The gray water treated by the sewage treatment plant is discharged to the oxidation pond, where it is further biologically purified through the action of aquatic plants and microorganisms. The water from the oxidation pond is introduced into the sand bed through the irrigation channel for further filtration. The water after sand filtration is directed to agriculture. Area, used for irrigating farmland, vegetable fields, breeding fish ponds and raising livestock and poultry. Wetlands can also be developed on limited land to enrich ecological diversity (Figure 4-5).
(2) The breeding cycle. After the rice is harvested, the straw is made into straw curtains for vegetable greenhouses to keep warm and anti-freeze in winter. The rice is processed into high-quality ecological rice. The rice husk and rice bran are brewed into alcoholic wine. The distiller's grains are fed to pigs and the pork is eaten by hotel tourists. The pig manure is transported to the biogas tank and processed. After high-temperature fermentation, it becomes non-toxic and sterile organic fertilizer.
(3) Use gardens to support stores, use stores to promote gardens, and combine tourism with agriculture. In accordance with the business philosophy of "using (agricultural) gardens to support (tourism) stores and using (tourism) stores to promote (agricultural) gardens", this farm eco-tourism park adopts the layout of "stores in front and gardens in the back". The "garden" has Plantation park, breeding park, science and technology park; area for fishing in all seasons; comprehensive large-scale recreation palace; characteristic farmhouse guest rooms and antique farm; "pet paradise" for viewing various animals; sea view water park for outdoor surfing in summer, and various Farm folk performances, agricultural tourism, picking, self-picking ecological eggs and other projects. The "park" creates a green tourism environment and provides consumer products, which is a cost center. The "store" is a place of consumption, providing customers for the park's products and is a profit center. The layout format of the front store and the back garden ensures the complementarity and integration of agriculture and tourism.
