Phoenix in western Hunan is really beautiful. Do you want to come and see it?
I suggest friends not to go to Fenghuang. I took the train from Changsha to Jishou the night before yesterday. When I got off the train, I was tricked by the taxi driver into getting in the car, saying that he was taking us to Fenghuang by the way. Each person was 15 yuan. It cost RMB 17 for the four of us (a bus ride costs RMB 17 and there are no buses at the train station). I thought it was a good deal at the time, and the driver was very enthusiastic and introduced us to interesting places in Phoenix. At that time, we thought we had met a good person. After getting in the car, he said that there were a few people who were going to Phoenix to rent his car (the scenic spots are far apart). But not long after, he pretended to answer the phone and said that those people wanted to take two more people on the car, and the driver said that it would be overloaded. He refused, and then asked us if we could rent a car. It cost 55 yuan per person, so we agreed since we thought it was OK (at the time we thought we could see all the scenic spots). When we were approaching Phoenix, he asked us where we were going and introduced this place to us. Tickets were required. I clearly remember that when we were at the train station, he said we didn’t need tickets. There was nothing we could do. Since we were here, we had to take a look. Then I bought tickets and they said they would give us a discount, 2 tickets (240 per person), 3 scenic spots, namely Gouliang Miao Village, Ancient Demon Tan, and some kind of party. You may think it’s funny based on the name. Now I Let’s talk about what Miao Village is like. The first thing I felt after entering was that it was dirty. There was a small ditch, which was said to be very turbid, with a lot of garbage. There were people washing clothes and vegetables there, and there was mud everywhere on the ground. , and animal feces. The driver asked a Miao girl to be our guide. He said a few words casually and took us around to look around. In fact, it was more like a few small bungalows than a Miao village. Don’t believe the photos in books or online. , the buildings there are so beautiful, they were all renovated later, and very few were renovated, most of them were small bungalows facing down. It was very small and extremely dirty inside. The most speechless thing I remember was when a Miao girl took us to a broken wooden building and told us that there was an old lady weaving. If we wanted to weave, we would have to pay 2 yuan per person. (Before we went up there, This is what she said) I went up to look at it, and it was very shabby. When I got off, someone said that they wanted to collect money. I heard the Miao girl said that he was the grandma's son, and he wanted 2 yuan for each person. I had no choice but to give it, although the money was not enough. It was a lot, but we were very angry at the time. We clearly said that if we wanted to weave weaving, we would charge 2 yuan each. We didn’t even see the grandma. She said she was going out, so she went upstairs, came down, and stayed there for a minute. Just 2 yuan per person. At that time, I felt that the people there really wanted money and were shameless. We didn't want her to be our guide when we got downstairs, we didn't want to watch anymore. Later, we met a group of college students from Chongqing, organized by the school. We asked her how much the ticket to this Miao village was, and she said 60. At that time, we felt that we had been cheated by the driver, even if they bought group tickets. There was no way it was so much less than us. We paid 240 per ticket, and then we went to see the driver. The driver immediately turned his back on us and cursed us, saying that he was helping us out of kindness. It was already a lot less than others, (the one printed on the ticket The price was 148, and there was also a ticket for the party, which was printed as 180) Anyway, although I felt that I had been cheated, there was nothing I could do about it. We were not familiar with the place, and there was no way he could refund our money. It was so painful at the time, that we I gave him 960 for 4 people (not including the 55 fare for each person). Later, all the money was given, so we had no choice but to go see it. Then we arrived at the Ancient Demon Pond. It was not pretty at all. It was a poor place with no mood at all. Finally, he took us to Fenghuang Ancient Town and asked us to pay the fare when we got off the bus. At that time, I wanted to pay less, so I gave him 200, but he disagreed and kept cursing us. Finally, he added 20, and the driver walked away. It was already past 3 pm when we got off the train. At that time, we had not eaten anything since the night before. We were tired and hungry. We got off the train at around 7 am, and we had no money at that time. A classmate went there. I took out money and borrowed it. After searching for a long time, I found a house that cost 60 yuan a night. It had a double bed and four people slept together (in a remote alley). By the way, the houses along the Tuojiang River are very expensive, at least 100 per night. The so-called Tuojiang River is so beautiful in my memory. After I went there, I realized that the photos in books and online were all fake. Some of the scenery was computer-generated. Anyway, it was very dirty. It was full of garbage. It was so dirty. There are actually many people washing clothes, mops, vegetables and sheets in the water. After finding the small hotel, we took a shower and then went to eat together. Since we didn’t have much money, the four of us found a small, cheap-looking restaurant and ordered 3 side dishes and a soup. The stir-fried dishes were terrible. The person also asked us if it tasted good. He probably thought it tasted bad to him, so he didn’t put any salt at all. Later, he added some salt and barely filled his stomach. When the bill was clearly 46, he said it was 50. Why? Rice actually costs money, even if the rice bowl costs money, it only costs one yuan per person. I regretted not eating more of his rice at that time. After eating, I felt even more that the Phoenix people really wanted money and were shameless. No wonder why the houses were built. The party mentioned above started at 7 o'clock in the evening, and it was only after 4 o'clock at that time. We waited at the door of the party for a long time and wanted to sell the tickets. We sold them for any price. Later, we ourselves thought that no one would buy it, because only those traveling there would buy it, but by that time, all those traveling there must have bought tickets (most of them were with tour groups, and people like us , was deceived by a taxi driver) We went in to take a look at around 6 o'clock. The decoration was very crude, almost like a circus, not worth 180 at all. The actors there were not dedicated, and the little gangsters outside, put on a The clothes of the Miao people are actors, haha.
What I want to tell you the most is the corpse driving in Xiangxi. I used to be very interested in hearing about this and thought it was mysterious. In fact, it is a joke. The so-called corpse driving is just a few actors wearing Qing Dynasty clothes and masks. Jump, this is the most mysterious "corpse driving in western Hunan". After we entered the venue, we asked the people next to us and found out that they had all been deceived. We were lucky enough to have been deceived less. In fact, the tickets for this party were only 80, maybe even less. This was why we asked the little The hotel owner said so. The person next to me was defrauded of more than 300 yuan, more than 300 yuan per person, all 3 or 4 people were together. He charged more than 1,000 yuan at once. The fare they paid must be very cheap. Some people were defrauded of fares from Jishou to Fenghuang, which cost more than 400, because they did not buy tickets from him. Anyway, we persisted until after 9 o'clock and we walked around the ancient city. To be honest, it's best not to buy any small things there. Except for some handmade cloth bags made by very old grandma, don't buy anything else. They get it from outside. You can buy it at some small stalls in Changsha.
The ancient city of Fenghuang is really ugly during the day. It is even more pleasing to the eye at night, but it is all covered up by the lights. The most noteworthy thing is that the public security in Fenghuang is really bad. The four of us were on the bridge. There is a place called Nanhua Gate at one end of the bridge. Friends who have been to Fenghuang should know that we actually encountered a thief there. The classmate in front of me took all the money from my classmate's clothes pockets with his hands. He thought we didn't know that we had no money, so he asked him to take it. Later, he tried to steal another classmate's money. I walked behind and looked at him. He kept following us, but later he stopped and left, going to many places with many people. Later, we were really too tired and went back to the hotel to sleep until about 7 o'clock in the morning. We took the bus to Jishou and changed our tickets. We originally took the train on the third day and bought the tickets, but we really didn't want to stay there. First, we had no money. Secondly, I’m not in the mood, and I feel very bad about Phoenix. Overall, we regret our trip to Phoenix very much. We would like to advise those who want to go to Phoenix not to go. If you want to go, I would like to give you some suggestions. First, don’t take the taxi from Jishou Railway Station, the driver is too He's very clever, he's very good at pretending, and he'll fool you into doing all the tricks. We already fell into the trap when we got in the car. Second, if you must go to an attraction, don’t buy tickets recommended by anyone, buy them yourself. Third, you must bring enough money (this is how we deeply understand what it feels like to be penniless. Fortunately, we bought a return ticket when we got off the train) and be careful of thieves. Fourth, don’t live in a house by the Tuojiang River. It’s very expensive (if you don’t care about the money, it’s up to you). Look for more houses. Also, when buying things, you have to bargain and look at more houses. Poor mountains and rivers breed unruly people. The people there are very realistic and only care about money. In the past, books said that the people there were simple and honest, but now there is a trend of cheating people. The reason why I post here is to hope that some people will not be deceived like us again, or that they just can’t swallow this breath! If anyone thinks what I said is false and is a lie, you can go to Phoenix to experience it like me. I am from Hunan First Normal University, so it is not convenient for me to give my name and contact information. The 11:44 pm train on April 14th arrived in Jishou at about 7pm. I didn’t check the time. The 11:28am train on April 16th returned to Changsha. The train numbers are K9024 and K9026.
