There are two kinds of mainland tourists who are eligible to travel to Taiwan freely: one is that adults over the age of 20 need to provide one of the economic certificates such as real estate, deposit or credit card limit, and the other is that students over 18 do not need to provide economic certificates. The proof of economic source provided by mainland tourists can be the proof of real estate, the proof of deposit of NT$ 200,000 that has been deposited for more than three months, or one of the proofs of annual salary of NT$ 550,000 or more (about RMB 6,543,800+0.23 million).
