Creative sand painting

Before making colored sand paintings, you need to prepare the following work:

1. Prepare colored sand: Choose colored sand with good quality, many specifications and colors meeting national standards.

You can buy colored sand. If ordinary sand is used, it needs to be sieved. First of all, choose fine sand with less impurities as raw materials. In fact, sand on the beach or in the desert is the best, with less impurities and better color purity. Then sieve it with a fine mesh, wash it with tap water, and finally dry it, and suck out the black impurity iron ore with a magnet, and it's almost there.

Second, glue: glue should be suitable for drying in the air, not too short or too long, with good bonding performance and no odor. You can also buy white transparent glue for sticking glass and stone.

Third, brushes, combined brushes: brush combination brushes should be selected in different sizes, preferably with more specifications. It is recommended to use oil painting brushes.

Four, color sand painting: suitable for wood, composite board, plastic board, ceramics, glass, stone, floor, wall, etc. According to the carrier of painting, you can choose different materials.

5. Other decorative materials such as photo frames: choose as needed.

6. Tweezers or metal tools with tips: Tweezers or metal tools are used for decoration or decoration, and such tools can be selected according to everyone's use.

Pencil: It is recommended to use the pencil above 2B, because the pencil above 2B is soft and it is very convenient to draw the outline on sand or other carriers.

manufacturing process

First of all, ideas

You can conceive according to your own materials, such as the beach above, because it is very important to conceive in one go, which is absolutely different from the effect you have painted repeatedly.

Second, gluing This is the second step of formal sand painting, and it is also the most critical step in all sand painting production.

This is the second step in making sand paintings, and it is also the most critical step in all sand paintings.

If the gluing area is large, you can choose a larger brush. If the gluing area is small, you should consider gluing with a combination pen or other gadgets. Because we recommend using white latex, you don't have to worry that the glue will solidify quickly. After applying the glue, you can immediately sprinkle sand on the glue. To put it bluntly, it is to control the direction, thickness and thickness of glue with a pen, and then control the production of colored sand paintings with glue!

Or use a bamboo stick to pick off the self-adhesive paper to be colored, and sprinkle the colored sand on it after exposing the adhesive surface; (generally, remove the outline first and sprinkle dark sand. )

The following steps are carried out in this way until the sand painting is completed. If you want to show a strong three-dimensional sense, you can glue and color the first picture for the second time after it is finished!

Color and color transition, because we are completely painted with colored sand, there is nothing else to control the lines, so you may not grasp the color transition well. Our treatment method is: use the density of sand to represent the color transition, and sprinkle a small amount or a small amount of colored sand in the process of color transition.

Pay attention to the color matching of adjacent parts. Generally, cool colors and warm colors or dark colors and light colors are matched together. (warm color: close to the color of the sun; Cool color: similar to the color of the ocean)

Thirdly, drying.

Use free drying or drying in the shade. Don't use high temperature or direct sunlight to dry, because there will be some cracks or distortion in the painting. After completely drying, sand paintings made of colored sand are not afraid of temperature difference and direct sunlight.

Fourth, the framework

Paintings made of colored sand can perform well without glass, and the effect is better if they are placed directly.

Some taboos in making colored sand paintings;

1, when gluing in a large area, avoid the gluing lines being straight. In other words, if the glue you brush for the first time is straight, the glue you brush later should be straight. If the straight line and the horizontal line are in the adjacent same color area, the lines will be messy after sanding. On the contrary, it will affect the overall effect of sand painting (of course, unless you need such an effect, we are afraid that the glue of vertical lines and horizontal lines is in the same color zone)

2. The colored sand will fade. This is also the taboo of sand painting. Our glue contains a lot of alcohol, and white latex also contains some water. If the colored sand you choose is not waterproof and can be dissolved in alcohol, the color of the colored sand painting will be out of control, which is the artist's taboo. And the storage time of inferior colored sand is very short, which is not conducive to the long-term preservation of your artistic creation!

3. Bad glue selection. The viscosity of glue directly affects the preservation time and effect of sand painting. If you want to preserve your artistic creation for a long time, you should choose a better glue.
