What are the problems in industrial tourism?
Although industrial tourism has broad prospects, most industrial tourist attractions are still in the primary stage, and there is still much room for improvement in scale and popularity. How to realize the integration of industry and tourism and win-win between creation and games still faces many problems.
First, nine major problems of industrial tourism
1, which pays attention to social benefits and its economic function is not obvious.

At present, the annual output value and profits of leading products of many large and medium-sized industrial enterprises have reached a high level, and tourism reception income only accounts for a small proportion. Therefore, their main focus in developing industrial tourism is to publicize corporate image and expand social influence, without paying enough attention to future benefits and huge development potential.
2. The contents of tourism products need to be rich.
At present, most industrial tourism projects mainly focus on simple sightseeing. Although there are some participatory activities, the content is relatively simple, and individual enterprises even regard the expenses incurred by tourists as a burden. Because the contents of tourist routes are not rich enough, most tourists stay within 1 day, and some even less than 1 hour. The reception of individual enterprises is seasonal, and some enterprises have insufficient supporting infrastructure for industrial tourism.
3. Tourism services are not specialized enough and their functions are not perfect.
At present, most industrial tourism projects are launched by industrial enterprises themselves. In the early stage of development, enterprises do not know enough about the law of tourism development and have little contact with tourism departments, so they often use the experience of enterprises to guide tourism work, rather than using tourism standards and norms.
4. Development ideas lack planning guidance.
Some industrial enterprises have insufficient understanding and analysis on how to tap the potential of existing resources and find their own advantages. There is also a lack of research on what industrial tourism will be like, how big it will be and what impact it will bring, and the research on adjusting and optimizing industrial structure through developing tourism is not deep enough.
5. The promotion work is not in place.
As the positioning of industrial tourism target customers is still mainly based on visits and exchanges between enterprises, mostly business tourism, but it is still underdeveloped in the face of mass tourism, so there is a lack of planning and promotion in marketing, and the phenomenon of waiting for customers to come to the door still exists.
6. A complete concept of tourism has not yet been formed.
At present, industrial tourism is more natural and realistic in the development of tourism products, and lacks characteristics and creativity, which is unattractive to tourists. However, most of the industrial areas where enterprises are located have a single architectural style, a low level of environmental greening and beautification, and there are no decent hotels, restaurants, commercial facilities and leisure activities. Compared with the traditional tourist attractions that have formed a certain scale, this is an obvious shortcoming, which does not meet people's aesthetic requirements in tourism activities and is very unfavorable to the development of industrial tourism.
7. The enterprise concept needs to be changed urgently.
Although some early industrial enterprises have tasted some sweetness in developing industrial tourism, there are still some enterprise managers in China who hold different views on developing industrial tourism. They think that enterprises are places where products are manufactured, and the normal development of production activities will be affected by tourists coming to enterprises. It is unprofessional for enterprises to carry out industrial tourism, so they hold a perfunctory and exclusive attitude towards tourists.
