Special Tourism in Mucheng Town

Pangpo Cave is located in the new countryside of Mucheng Town. According to legend, it was the secluded place of the Pang couple, the strategist of Shu Han and uncle of Jingdi Pang Tong, and also the place where Pang Yun and his wife lived in Shu in the Tang Dynasty. There is a word "fat woman hole" in the mouth of the cave. There are several cliff statues and hundreds of Buddha statues in front of the cave. Moreover, there are inscriptions on the travel notes of Ming people. According to the county records: "The cave is unfathomable, and tourists swim with torches. Ten miles later, they smelled the sound of chickens and dogs, and they came back in horror. After that, no one dared to enter. " Amin Zhang Fengcun (Yin Hong) wrote that this cave is "as far as the eye can see, and the monk's torch has not returned half a mile".

Pangpo Cave is located halfway up the mountain, commonly known as "Maoergang". "Jiajiang County Records" (Republic of China Edition) contains: "The rocks are cold, the forests are repeated, and a hole is unfathomable. In the past, some people were poor and did not return. The mountains are surrounded by strange stones, which are hard to describe. " There are several natural caves in Pangpo Cave, among which there are endless caves. The entrance of the main cave is engraved with "Fat Woman Cave" and "Pound Fairy Cave". The mouth of the cave is from south to north, about eight meters high and two meters wide. Winding in a secluded place requires lighting. Hole? , forming a landscape spectacle in the cave. The main cave is divided into three floors, and the exit is in Shannan, which is about ten meters higher than the main entrance and only about eighty meters apart. The second floor of the main tunnel is a few meters difficult to climb, mainly because of the narrow rock joints. After climbing the third floor, I came out of the hole. Shannan Cave is located on a steep hillside, and there are countless streams floating up and down on the cliff, forming a spectacular Dishuiyan. The water drops fell on the ground of the main cave, making a tinkling sound. After the water gathered, it penetrated into the crevices. There is a cool breeze in the cave, and the summer heat will retreat at this point. There is also a natural cave under the rock opposite the main cave, and the boulders inside and outside the cave overlap. This cave is tall and spacious, with constant temperature, warm in winter and cool in summer. It is a dry cave with several high or low lateral holes, which makes it extremely difficult to climb in and bottom out. There are many bats in the cave, some of which have wings more than a foot long. It is said that the main hole and this hole used to have side holes, which are unknown. On one occasion, a busybody raised his hand to explore the strange, walked for about ten miles, heard the sound of chickens and dogs, and returned in horror. From then on, no one dared to explore further, so they blocked the side hole and it is still impassable. The original memorial temple in front of Pangpo Cave was called Pangpo Temple. The villagers believe that there used to be two apprentices in Pangpo Temple. There is a small hole in the rock wall behind the temple. The hole is as big as the head of chopsticks, and rice leaks out of it. The amount of rice leaked every day is just enough for two people to eat, so it is called "rice leakage hole". One day, the little apprentice was driven out by the master, and he hated the small hole for leaking less rice, so he dug it up. Since then, no rice has leaked out, and the site is still there. "Jiajiang County Records" (Republic of China Edition) contains: "There is Pangpo Cave in the northwest mountain of Nanan Town (now Mucheng Town) in Jiajiang. Pang Jushi went to this immortal to be handed down from generation to generation, and the remains still exist. Or, Pang Degong, a layman, is the uncle of Pang Tong, the king of Jing, taking medicine with his wife. I don't know. Hide here. Or: Tang and Pang Yun, also from Xiangzhou, once participated in Mazu Zen, so-called "sucking the Xijiang River dry in one gulp". The couple went to Shu and hid in a cave in western Sichuan, and they didn't know who it was. " Now the temple has been destroyed, and there are still 16 stone pillars in the present site (according to Pang Degong's story of refusing to be an official and retiring to Nanchuan Mountain Forest, Meng Haoran and Du Fu both have poems). The villagers built houses on the cliff under the ruins, with rocks as the top, nicknamed "three rooms and one tile", which was enough to avoid the wind and rain. There are thunder-broken boulders next to them, forming a scene of the sky; There is a boulder called "Guan Dao" under the front slope, which is used to town the pass and guard the dangerous road; There is a meditation stone next to the ruins of the temple, which is said to be the practice place of monks and Taoists in past dynasties. It stands on a steep cliff, so be careful if you want to try it. Explore the legendary cave of rice leakage. The cave has become an irregular crack on the rock more than two meters long and about one to three centimeters wide. A cold air keeps blowing out and becomes a "leaking" rock.

According to the introduction of relevant departments, it is found that the cave is a natural cave with three floors. There are mountains and springs in the cave, and the front and back of the cave are connected. The front hole is in the north of the mountain and the back hole is in the south of the mountain. However, the big hole in the cave is covered with small holes, which lead to the big hole. The smallest place can only accommodate one servant to climb in, and the terrain is complex. So far, no one dares to explore further. Zouma Jiaolou (the seat of Log Town Government) is located at the starting point of the whole ancient town, with its back to the town and facing Qingyi River. According to the staff of Mucheng Town Government, the owner of Zouma Jiaolou is surnamed Zhang, so this building is also called Zhangjia Courtyard. In ancient times, the Zhang family was a large local family, which was mainly engaged in handmade paper making business. The Zhang family bought handmade paper from the local area, boarded the boat from Gudukou, sold it in Yibin, and then shipped it back to Yibin to sell salt wine to the local area. They used the money they earned to buy back wood in Ya 'an and built this building with an area of 800 square meters and 48 rooms. The staff of the Mucheng Town Government who are on duty at night live here.

The turret of Zouma has an outer corridor and an inner corridor. The veranda supported by overhangs organically connects the whole building, giving people a sense of rhythm. The veranda on the second floor is cantilevered without pillar support. The width of the veranda is relatively narrow, and only one person can pass through. The whole building conveys the beauty of simplicity, integrity and order.
