Tengchong is a famous geothermal scenic spot in China. At present, there are 64 geothermal active areas and more than 80 hot springs in the whole region, with the highest water temperature of 96.3℃. Among them, the Tengchong Hot Sea, which is embedded about 20 kilometers west of the city, has the strongest heat and the most wonderful external display.
Surrounded by green hills, the water is rushing. It starts from Sulphur Pond in the north, connects Songshanqing in the south, Xiao Zhong Temple in the east and Bajiaoyuan in the west. Within about 9 square kilometers, there are various geothermal landscape types.
2. Tengchong Hot Spring Group

Later, the literati took the meaning of "harmony with the people" and renamed it "Heshun". Heshun ancient town is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Yunnan Province, and it is also an important town of the ancient tea-horse road and the only place where the Southwest Silk Road passes.
The buildings in the ancient town are built on the mountain, and gradually climb from east to west, stretching for two or three kilometers. Ancestral temples, memorial archways and ancient houses in Ming and Qing dynasties are all over the ancient town. Ma Pingchuan in front of the town, Qingxi around the village, weeping willows touching the shore, this is a harmonious pastoral scenery. The acting prime minister of the Republic of China has a poem praising Shun: absolutely better than Xiao Suhang.
5. Tengchong Volcano National Geopark
Tengchong and lianghe county in the southwest of Yunnan Province. Geopark features ancient volcanic geological relics and associated geothermal hot springs. There are 97 volcanoes in the park. Among them, 25 volcanoes have well-preserved shapes and various types of volcanic cones. There are several levels of lava platforms in the park, mainly including lava platforms around the crater, lava platforms around the volcanic cone and lava platforms overflowing from cracks, with large area and gentle slope.
