Hong Kong and Macao Pass G Sign Requirements

G sign: it means "personal travel endorsement" and is restricted by the city where it is located. You can freely enter and leave Hong Kong without going abroad with a group, and you can fly directly from the mainland to Hong Kong.

L-sign: it means "endorsement for group travel". For most cities, it is the L symbol. If you want to leave the country with a group, you can't fly directly to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong and Macao Pass can be applied once every three months, twice every three months, once every/kloc-0 and twice every/kloc-0 as required. At present, there are four types of endorsements to Hong Kong and Macao:

L endorsement (that is, travel endorsement, which must be in and out with the group, valid for 14 days);

S endorsement (that is, business endorsement, the holder can make multiple trips to and from the two places within three months, and each stay can be 14 days);

T endorsement (that is, visit endorsement, divided into three categories: once a month, once every three months and three times every three months);

G endorsement (that is, individual travel endorsement, you can apply for entry into Hong Kong and Macao once or twice, and each stay will not exceed 7 days).

Legal basis:

The validity period of the Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao is 5 years. On September 5, 20 14, 14, the Regulations on Electronic Travel Pass between Hong Kong and Macao was fully implemented, and the validity period of adult electronic travel pass between Hong Kong and Macao was extended to 10, and people under the age of 16 still issued five-year valid passes.

For the first time, you must submit your application in person to the exit-entry administration office where your account is located. The application materials include: resident ID card and its copy (copied on A4 paper, which can be copied on the same paper), filling out the Application Form for Entry and Exit Certificate of China Citizens, and 2 2 2-inch light-colored photos (or taking photos on site at your own expense). At the same time, you can apply for endorsements to Hong Kong and Macao respectively. If you only go to Hong Kong, you have to apply for a Hong Kong endorsement; if you only go to Macao, you have to apply for a Macao endorsement. If you go to Hong Kong and Macao, you must apply for both endorsements.

The processing time limit is 10 working days from the date of acceptance (the first or non-first application). But the mailing day (usually about five days) and holidays are not included.
