How to get to Danxia Mountain

To travel to Danxia Mountain, you usually go to Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province first. Shaoguan is the transportation hub of Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangxi. There are direct trains on major railway trunk lines in East China, North China and Southwest China, especially the opening of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, which can allow tourists from the north to enter spring from winter in a few hours. Danxia Mountain Scenic Area is only 50 kilometers away from Shaoguan City, and it takes about 50 minutes by car. Every railway station has a special tourist line.

The nearest airport to Danxia Mountain is Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, which, as one of the three major hub airports in China, reaches more than 0/00 cities at home and abroad. Visitors who come by plane can take the airport bus or subway to the railway station to take the train to Shaoguan, and then transfer to the tourist bus to reach Danxia Mountain Scenic Area.

There are more than 100 trains to Shaoguan every day in Guangzhou, and high-speed railway station is Guangzhou South Railway Station. It takes about 1 hour for the high-speed train to Shaoguan. Guangzhou Railway Station is an ordinary railway station, which takes about 2 hours to Shaoguan.

As a transportation hub in northern Guangdong, Shaoguan has two railway stations. High-speed trains mainly stop at Shaoguan Railway Station, while ordinary trains mainly stop at Shaoguan East Station. After taking the train to Shaoguan, there are buses to Danxia Mountain scenic spot next to the two railway stations, which is very convenient.

1. Shaoguan Railway Station

It mainly receives high-speed trains and bullet trains from all over the country, and is the first stop for Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway to enter Guangdong.

After the tourists who arrive at Shaoguan Station leave the station, there is a tourist bus that goes directly to Danxia Mountain Scenic Area at the bus stop on the left. The first and last buses are irregular, about half an hour, and the whole journey takes about 50 minutes. Ticket price 20 yuan/person.

2. Shaoguan East Station

Receive tourists who arrive at Shaoguan East Station by ordinary train. After leaving the station, there is a tourist bus directly to Danxia Mountain Scenic Area in the left square. The journey takes about 50 minutes, and the fare is 16 yuan/person.

The first bus from Shaoguan East Station to Danxia Mountain is at 06:50, then every 15 minutes, and the last bus is at 20:30.

Shaoguan's highway traffic is also very convenient, with many national highways and expressway running through Shaoguan city. Every major city in Guangdong Province has a shuttle bus to Danxia Mountain Bus Terminal, which is at the foot of Danxia Mountain.

Danxiashan Bus Station, a sub-station of Renhua Bus Station, is 5 kilometers away from Renhua County, about 10 minutes' drive.

Danxia mountain tourist bus

Shaoguan East Station: The tourist bus from Shaoguan East Station to Danxia Mountain runs every 15 minutes, running from 6: 30 to 19:30, and the fare is 13 yuan (holidays 15 yuan).

Shaoguan Station: The tourist bus from Shaoguan Railway Station to Danxia Mountain runs every 5 minutes/kloc-0, and the fare is 15 yuan/person, which goes directly to Xinshanmen of Danxia Mountain. In addition, there are shuttle buses to Renhua County and tourist buses and taxis to Shaoguan at Xinshanmen of Danxia Mountain.

There are high-grade highways around Danxia Mountain, and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway has two exits in the southern and western suburbs of Shaoguan. The time from each expressway exit to the scenic spot shall not exceed 1 hour.

Direction of Guangzhou: Guangzhou-South China Express Line-Taihe Shangjing-Zhuhai Expressway (G4)- Shaoguan South Exit (Qujiang) continue northbound for 3km, then turn to Shaogan Expressway for 30km, get off at Danxia Exit, take Shangdong Highway 106 100km to reach the entrance of Danxia Mountain.

Wuhan direction: Wuhan-Beijing-Zhuhai-Expressway-Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao-Expressway-Taihe Shangjing-Zhuhai Expressway (G4) turns to Shaogan Expressway, about 12 hours.

Direction of Shanghai: Drive from Shanghai, take Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, transfer to Ganshao Expressway, and get to Shaoguan in about 16 hours.

Domestic traffic

Free bus: The main mode of transportation in Danxia Mountain Scenic Area is the scenic bus, which can be taken free of charge with the scenic spot tickets. The route is generally from the gate to Yangyuanshi, Elder Peak and other places.

Ferry: There is a ferry to and from Laoyefeng Scenic Area in Xianglong Lake, which goes to and from 35 yuan and one-way to 20 yuan.

Yacht: You can visit Jinjiang in Yangyuan Stone Scenic Area and enjoy the Danxia landform in the east and the Danxia on the sparkling lake at close range. Ticket price: 90 yuan/person

Bamboo raft: The bamboo raft tour in Danxia Mountain is also very distinctive. Walking through a large bamboo forest, you can enjoy the peaks in the west and the exquisiteness of the countryside. The route is Danxia Power Station to Niubi Village. The route is a one-way street and there is a free shuttle bus. Ticket price: the whole journey 100/ person, and 60 yuan/person on the way.

Cableway: You can enjoy the unpredictable peaks of Danxia Mountain from a height, and tourists with poor physical strength can choose. Ticket price: two-way 60 yuan/person on weekdays and one-way 40 yuan/person; ; Two-way 70 yuan/person on weekends and holidays, and one-way 45 yuan/person.
