1, Shouxian Ancient City

The ancient city of Shouxian is an ancient city with chessboard layout, which is dominated by the ancient city wall of Shouxian and many existing ancient buildings. There is a well-preserved Song Dynasty city wall outside the ancient city, namely "Shouxian Ancient City Wall", which is the most famous architectural relic in Shouxian.

The ancient city wall was built in the Southern Song Dynasty, which was used to defend against wars and prevent floods. Because of its necessary functionality, it was still being repaired until the Ming and Qing Dynasties, so it is the best preserved ancient city wall of the Song Dynasty in China and the best preserved ancient city defense system in the world.

2. Shouchun Chu Culture Museum

Anhui Chu Culture Museum, Xinshou County Museum, is the only museum named after Chu Culture in China. It was completed and opened on May 1 2006. The museum site is located in the national archaeological site of Shouchun City, Xincheng District, Shouxian County, covering an area of 200 mu, with a building area of 155 10 square meter.

The exhibition includes two basic exhibitions: Anhui Chu culture, Shouxian civilization history and Shouchunshou culture. * * * There are 1 1 exhibition halls, which are the treasures of Chu capital, the relics of the late Cai Dynasty, the treasures of Chu tombs, the rhyme of Han and Wei Dynasties, splendid cultural relics, the battle of water and the legacy of the late Han Dynasty.

3. Shouzhou Confucius Temple

Shouzhou Confucius Temple, founded in Tang Dynasty, moved its capital to Yuan Dynasty, with an ancient building of 5,739.05 square meters in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a large existing Confucius Temple in Anhui Province and a national cultural relic protection unit.

This temple faces south and covers an area of about 20,000 square meters. After maintenance in recent years, its buildings and structures are basically well preserved, including Dacheng Hall, Fujiaofang, Mingluntang and Shouzhou Monument Gallery, which are dedicated to Confucius and his disciples and have high cultural value.

4. Sun Shao Memorial Hall

Sun Shuaitang is located on the north bank of Anfengtang. The building faces south and covers an area of 3,000 square meters. It was built in memory of Sun Yin, the king of Chu, and the construction time is unknown. There is the Daxiong Hall, the Fu Pavilion worships the newspaper door, and the inscription of Ming and Qing Dynasties 19 inside and outside the characters, including the inscriptions of Anfengtang in past dynasties, the illustrations of Anfengtang irrigation area, the statue and biography of Sun Shuai, etc. It is an important historical material for studying Anfengtang.

5. Huainan Hongji

Hoonji, located in the northeast corner of Shouxian ancient city, was formerly known as Chongjiao Temple and Tuochan Temple. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it was renamed in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of 1300 years. The whole temple covers an area of 1.47 million square meters, and the building area is 1.25 million square meters. Its scale and majestic architecture are second to none on the land of Jianghuai.
