5. Amphibians and reptiles
The surveys of amphibians, reptiles and mammals in the mangrove wetlands in the wetland park are relatively few and unsystematic. 6. Birds
According to observations, there are 108 species of birds in 12 orders, 36 families, and so on in the Wetland Park and surrounding areas. There are 11 species under key national protection, 27 species under key protection in Guangdong Province, 9 species under CITES appendix, and 61 species under national three-level protection. Among the birds in the entire region, the most abundant wetland birds are herons, shorebirds, gulls, and ducks, followed by rails and kingfishers. Shorebirds, gulls, geese and ducks are generally most numerous in winter, and most of them are winter migratory birds.
7. Mammals
