Kunming—a city suitable for tourism but not for work

What I fear most on the way to get off work are the little electric donkeys running around. A bicycle mixed in among them looks like a rider. It's bitter but interesting in the traffic. On the road, I occasionally heard pedestrians behind me say, "Kunming is only suitable for traveling, not working here." This is exactly what I said. Various construction of subways and road repairs on Kunming Road have made the already narrow road even more congested. Riding a bicycle for 20 minutes or taking the bus for 40 minutes every day, and not knowing when it will rain, is really a waste of time.

Several times I expressed that I wanted to get to the project quickly and that I wanted to go into the mountains and get away from the city. My friends there told me to cherish the life I have in the city now, as it will only be boring when I come here. It's really like "Fortress Besieged", people inside want to go out, people outside want to come in... It's a bit ironic

Kunming, you are very good, but I can't find a sense of belonging here. I don't know the way around, I don't understand the dialect, and all kinds of discomforts make me feel that there are cultural differences and life is very stressful.
