Thoughts on traveling to Beijing Botanical Garden

I got up early this morning. My mood is as clear and sunny as today's weather in Wan Li, because my classmates and I are going to Beijing Botanical Garden today.

When you enter the gate of Beijing Botanical Garden, the first thing you see is a Chinese knot made of flowers with four characters of "Prosperous Flower Chapter". Next to it is a huge Chinese rose flower shape made up of flowers. Walking in the middle, there are 1 columns made of flowers. Walking around the columns, I saw the shape of a dragon made of many flowers. This dragon is very powerful with wide eyes.

Beijing Botanical Garden is located near the reclining Buddha Temple in Xishan, with an area of 4 hectares. Beijing Botanical Garden collects, displays and preserves plant resources, integrating scientific research, scientific popularization and sightseeing functions. At present, the Botanical Garden has built an open area of more than 2 hectares, which consists of a plant exhibition area, a cultural landscape area of historical sites, a nature reserve and a scientific research area. The plant exhibition area includes 11 special gardens such as ornamental plant area, arboretum garden, begonia garden, Mulan garden, Jixiu garden (bamboo garden), perennial flower garden and Meiyuan garden under construction. The arboretum consists of ginkgo pine and cypress area, maple rose area, linden willow area, magnolia berberis area, sycamore oak area and paulownia ash area under construction; The bonsai garden was completed and opened in 1995; A 2-square-meter low-temperature greenhouse has been built in the greenhouse flower area, and the largest plant exhibition greenhouse in China was built in 1999. More than 56, plants and 5, species have been introduced and cultivated in the park, covering 9, square meters of grass. The scenic spots and historical sites are composed of the Reclining Buddha Temple, the Cherry Valley, the Longjiao Temple site, the "December 9" memorial pavilion, the Liang Qichao cemetery and the Cao Xueqin memorial hall.

Among the activities, the memorial hall of Cao Xueqin was the most unforgettable one for me. Cao Xueqin is a great writer in China. His Dream of Red Mansions has been circulated for more than 2 years. According to the descriptions of poets such as Duncheng, Dunmin and Zhang Yiquan, Cao Xueqin's friends, the "Huangye Village" where Cao Xueqin wrote books in his later years is very consistent with the historical sites near Zhengbaiqi. In order to show our admiration for Cao Xueqin, the Botanical Garden chose a corner of Zhengbai Banner to artistically reproduce Huangye Village for our visit. Huangye Village covers an area of 1.8 hectares, surrounded by hedges, with winding stone paths and deep alleys. The village has a vegetable garden, a medicine garden and a melon shed, with a stone mill, a stone mill, a pulley, an arrow field and an ancient pier, and a teahouse and wine shop, which is full of peasant flavor in the mountain village.

After that, I went to the Science Museum, which is an educational base for popularizing plant knowledge and promoting ecological awareness. I saw many plants there, and I also knew the different functions of many plants.

Today, I not only gained knowledge, but also saw a variety of plants. Today is really a happy day!
