Discover North Korea, what netizens see and feel in North Korea.

On the first night in North Korea, we stayed in a super hotel in North Korea, Yangjiao Island Hotel. Yangjiao Island Hotel is located on an island on the Datong River. Although the hotel was built a long time ago, the hall is still very atmospheric. On the upper floor of Yangjiao Island Hotel, you can overlook the whole urban area of Pyongyang.

Pyongyang in the early morning is looming, beautiful and euphemistic. After breakfast, we boarded the tourist bus at the appointed time. My understanding of North Korea is mainly from the mouth of the tour guide and what I saw outside the car. Although I read a lot of information on the Internet before I came to North Korea and got to know something about this country, I still feel a little different when I really arrived in this country.

North Korea implements a planned economy, and its urban infrastructure and supporting facilities are underdeveloped. But medical education and housing are free. Although people here are not rich in life, they are very satisfied in spirit. Willow trees can often be seen on the streets of Pyongyang.

Our guide said Pyongyang used to be called Liu Jing. People in Pyongyang give people a feeling of leisure and busyness. People are in a hurry on the street, and bicycles are speeding on the road, which is a bit like the feeling of the movie "Hawthorn Tree Love". There are few cars and goods on the street, so the street looks clean and empty.

There are many high-rise buildings in Pyongyang, North Korea, but there are almost no billboards on the streets with high-rise buildings, only various slogans. The air here is also slightly humid, giving people a very comfortable feeling. At night, when you look up at the sky, you can see the stars all over the sky. Stars are rarely seen in big cities in China.
