Zhangzhou belongs to Fujian province. Zhangzhou, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province, is one of the cities in southern Fujian. It is located at the southernmost tip of Fujian Province, with a land area of 1.26 million square kilometers and a sea area of 1.86 million square kilometers. The climate of Zhangzhou belongs to the south subtropical maritime monsoon climate, with mountains in the north blocking the cold current, ocean regulation in the south and low latitude. Close to the Tropic of Cancer, the climate is warm, the rainfall is abundant, there is no cold in winter and no heat in summer. In the 25th year of Qin Shihuang (the first 222 years), after "Qin has merged into the world", the old place of Fujian and Vietnam was designated as Minzhong County, and now Zhangzhou belongs to Minzhong County, which is the beginning of being formally incorporated into the central territory. On December 9th, the second year of Tang Dynasty (686), Zhangzhou was established to administer Xilin, which belongs to Lingnan Road and governs Zhangpu and Yongli counties. By 202 1, Zhangzhou will have jurisdiction over 4 districts and 7 counties, namely xiangcheng district, longwen district, Longhai, Changtai, Zhangpu, Xiaoyun, Zhaoan, Dongshan and Nanjing.
