Yaochi, Shuifu Tourist Area, Hunan Province

Construction began in 2000, and the Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government took this area as one of the key points of Xiangtan tourism and leisure industry base and listed it as the key construction project of the whole city. In 2006, it was selected as one of the "Eight Scenes of New Xiaoxiang" in the ecological leisure category. As a key project of tourism in Hunan Province during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, it undertakes the function of building Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration into a leisure and holiday service base in the "resource-saving, environment-friendly" social comprehensive reform pilot zone. This is the source of the Xiang army, with beautiful scenery and rich humanities.

According to the Master Plan of Water-rich Tourist Area in Hunan Province (Revised) (2007-2020), the future water-rich tourist area will rely on its beautiful natural landscape resources and profound cultural heritage, take ecological leisure holiday products as the core, and make cultural tourism, sightseeing tourism and gourmet tourism as supplements to build the top ecological leisure holiday resort in China.

In 2008, Shuifu Tourist Resort entered the stage of comprehensive promotion. The scenic spot plans to build the company into a 4A-level tourist area in the next three years, a 5A-level tourist area in five years, and a national-level tourist resort in 10.
