Introduction to Qishoushan Scenic Tourist Area
Qishoushan Mountain, also known as Shouqiu, Duishan, Jizhong Mountain, Yuntai Mountain, and Huanxi Mountain, is located 30 kilometers southeast of Qinzhou District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province, with an altitude of 1,951 meters. It is the center of the Western Han Dynasty. The source is the watershed between the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. Therefore, it has the reputation of "Qishoushan Mountain is neither big nor small, pressing down on the Nao River of Sanjiang River". The long history gives Qishoushan rich cultural connotation. It is not only the hometown of Xuanyuan, but also the birthplace of the pre-Qin Dynasty. It was considered by the great poet Qu Yuan as the "land of sunset" and feels majestic and vast. It is also even more mysterious because of the beautiful myth of the legendary ancestor Li Yuan, the founder of the Tang Dynasty, who "chased the deer to learn the opportunity". , coupled with the visits of literati from past dynasties and their ink-writing, the originally handsome Qishoushan gained a bit of aura.
Qishoushan has a history of five thousand years of civilization, including "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", "Weishu", "Shangshu Yu Gong", "Hanshu Geography", "Shui Jing Zhu", "Qinzhou" "Zhi" and modern historical records such as "General Chronicles of Gansu" and "Tianshui County Chronicles" all have clear records of the human and natural history of Qishoushan. Bangu, Zheng Xuan, and Sangqin of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the geographer Li Dao of the Northern Wei Dynasty were left behind. The footprints of famous scholars such as Yuan Dynasty have also left behind the poems and calligraphy of many celebrities such as Qu Yuan in the Warring States Period, Hu Zuanzong in the Ming Dynasty, Wang Xi and Jiang Tingxi in the Qing Dynasty, Fan Zhenxu and the proletarian revolutionist Bo Yibo in modern times, and the beautiful natural scenery of "Jizhong Island" "Lang" has the same reputation as "Mai Ji Yanyu".
In recent years, with the attention of governments at all levels and the care and investment of people from all walks of life, Qishoushan Scenic Tourist Area currently has fifteen professionally designed scenic spots, which are briefly introduced as follows.
1. Huifu Temple. Huifu Temple was built in the first year of the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 386). It has gone through many vicissitudes since then. It was built in the 28th year of the Republic of China in modern times and was destroyed again after the "Ten Years of Catastrophe". In order to promote and protect historical and cultural heritage, it was rebuilt in 1989. Now it has been expanded and has begun to take shape. It is graceful and elegant and has become a beautiful scenery in the mountains. Huifu Temple has been repaired, renovated and expanded three times since its construction. It has become a holy place for faithful men and women to pray and offer incense.

2. Yeling Temple. Also known as Yuntai Temple, it is located on the northwest side of Qishou Mountain. Here, beautiful peaks rise, solitary into the clouds, with luxuriant grass and green trees providing shade. According to legend, Emperor Taizong followed Yuan Tiangang's suggestion and ordered the construction of the temple in order to protect the Tang Dynasty for thousands of generations and to facilitate worship of ancestors. The existing building was rebuilt in 1989 with funds raised by local people.

3. Fengchan Terrace. It is located on the top of Qishou Mountain. It is said that in 212 BC, the first emperor of Qin came to Longshang to inspect Tianshui County, and then went to Xichui Cemetery to worship his ancestors. He passed by Shouqiu, because it was the fiefdom of the early Qin Dynasty and Wangshan Mountain was used to protect the Qin Empire forever. Gu, the country is rich and the people are strong. Following the advice of Prime Minister Li Si, this platform was specially set up to pray to heaven.

4. Shooting Tiger Stone. It is located at the northern foot of Qishou Mountain. It is said that when the flying general Li Guang was the governor of Longxi, he heard that tigers often appeared on Qishou Mountain at night and injured people. In order to protect the safety of the local people, he went up the mountain to shoot tigers at night. He mistakenly mistook a tiger-shaped stone for a tiger and shot it into the arrowhead. . In order to commemorate the meritorious service of the flying general Li Guang, later generations erected this stone and left an ancient poem on the stone: The grass in the dark forest is frightened by the wind, and the general draws his bow at night. I looked for the white feather in plain sight, but it was missing among the stone edges.

5. Shooting Deer Platform (archery range). According to legend, in the late Sui Dynasty, Li Yuan’s ancestor made a living here by hunting. One day, a sika deer was shot and injured, and he followed the blood trail to the temple on the top of the mountain. It turned out that it was the sika deer on the mural in the temple, and it was still bleeding in the painting. He happened to meet an immortal playing chess, and accidentally got a hint. He knew that "there is a cave for dragons, but no pond for raising dragons". Therefore, after Li Yuan's mother became pregnant, the family moved to Taiyuan, Shanxi, and gave birth to Li Yuan, who later ruled the world. , established the Tang Empire. In recent years, the local government has used social funds to build a deer archery range for tourists' entertainment.

6. Li Tangzu Mausoleum. Li-Tang culture is also a major cultural system in Qishoushan Mountain. This is the location of the ancestral tomb of Li Yuan, the emperor of the Tang Dynasty. Li Yuan's father gave birth to Li Yuan, and his ancestral tomb was built on this "dragon vein" site. Later generations burned paper as a sacrifice, leaving a paper-burning village at the foot of Qishou Mountain, which was later renamed Laozi Village.

7. Fenghuang Tsui. It is said that out of the dragon's lair, there must be a place for the phoenix to live! There is a hill not far from Li Tang's ancestral mausoleum, which the locals call "Phoenix Tsui". The landform here resembles a flying phoenix, which is supported by dragon veins and echoes the Li Tang Ancestral Tomb.

8. Yuntai Songtao. The 10,000 acres of artificial pine forest in Qishoushan Mountain has now grown and is known as the "Natural Oxygen Bar of Longshang Jiangnan". Listening to the waves, enjoying the cool air, resting and having fun under the forest are all the enjoyment of life.

9. Waves on Jizhong Island. The top of Qishou Mountain is 1951 meters above sea level. Here you can see the surrounding hills, just like a small island in the vast sea, so it is called: Jizhong Island Wave. Especially, in the autumn morning, the hills in the fog are even more majestic and beautiful.

10. Sanjiang Zhenyue. Qishoushan Mountain is known as "Qishoushan Mountain is neither big nor small, pressing down on the Nao River of Sanjiang River". The water from the south of this place flows into the Yangtze River, the water from the north flows into the Yellow River, and the water from the west flows into the Western Han River, so it is called: Sanjiang Zhenyue!

Eleven, the sun sets at Kuanxi. Qishoushan Mountain was considered by the great poet Qu Yuan to be the "land of sunset". Watching the sunset from Qishoushan Mountain, you will feel the majesty, vastness and beauty. The setting sun at Kuanxi has also become a beautiful scenery in Qishoushan Mountain.

12. Li Tangyi Village (Shaozi Village Farmhouse). Shaozi Village, also known as paper-burning village and paper-carrying village, is a small village at the foot of Qishoushan Mountain. According to legend, this is the place where descendants of Li Yuan burned paper for their ancestors, so it was called Paper-Burning Village. Later, because of the passage of time, people often asked people to bring paper to sacrifice to their ancestors, so it was also called Paper-Burning Village. It is now built as a farmhouse imitating the ancient charm of Li Tang.

Thirteen. Watershed. Qishoushan Mountain is the source of water in the Western Han Dynasty, a famous watershed of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, and a natural barrier that divides the north and south of China. The water from the south flows into the Yangtze River, the water from the north flows into the Yellow River, and the water from the west flows into the Western Han River, hence the name: watershed.

14. Black Dragon Pond (Diaoyutai). There is spring water flowing out of the top of Qishoushan Mountain all year round, and the locals call it "Black Dragon Pool". The local government guided the community to build a Diaoyutai using Heilongtan water to artificially breed high-value edible fish for tourists to fish for entertainment.

15. Xuanyuan’s hometown square and archway. Xuanyuan culture has a long history here, and the local people in No. 48 Village, Wuxiang Town, Fangyuan, Qishoushan Mountain, have been spreading the magical legend of Xuanyuan’s hometown. Through the efforts of the local government and caring people, in 2002 Comrade Bo Yibo, an older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, wrote an inscription: The hometown of Xuanyuan - Qishoushan!
