Introduction of Seven Star Lake Scenic Spots:

Seven-Star Lake Desert Eco-tourism Zone is full of sand, with mountains and peaks, which are surrounded by dangers. There are lakes everywhere, blue waves rippling, quiet and beautiful. This is Qixing Lake Tourist Area, which is located in the hinterland of Kubuqi Desert in Hangjinqi, Erdos City, and is away from Bahang Highway 14 km,10 National Highway and Jinglan Railway, 0/40 km from Baotou, a grassland steel city, 330 km from Hohhot and 800 km from Beijing. Mainly based on desert eco-tourism products, integrating entertainment and tourism.

The total area of the scenic spot is 920 hectares, including 380 hectares of water, 40.7 hectares of reed wetland, 380 hectares of grassland and 384 hectares of desert. Qixing Lake is the impact lake of the old Yellow River. Because the Seven Lakes are distributed in the shape of the Big Dipper, it is named Qixing Lake, so there is the Big Dipper in the sky and Qixing Lake on the ground.

Among them, Zhahan Road Map, East Avenue Map and Avenue Road Map (also called Yike Road Map) are collectively called Daotu Lake, which is endowed with romantic colors by magical legends. It is said that there used to be a buffalo bird with eyes like rice bowls, limbs like wooden rafters, and a body like a cow. It hovered in the air as light as a feather, called like a cow, and made the sound of Cleisthenes. In the past, many birds regarded it as a monster, and whenever they saw its shadow, they all hid. Local Mongolian herders believe that this bird can help people avoid disasters and bring good luck, so they named it Daotu, which means bell in Chinese. The three lakes are separated by sand mountains. The air is fresh and the lake is clear, just like three sapphires embedded in the Kubu desert. The lake is full of reeds and rich in aquatic resources. More than a dozen rare birds live here.

Ikdotu map is located at the westernmost end of the Three Seas, with a vast water surface, an area of about 40.005 million mu and a water depth of 4.55 meters. The reeds are dense and the warblers fly around. There are dozens of native fish such as soft-shelled turtle, red soft-shelled turtle, grass carp, crucian carp, white fish and catfish in the lake, as well as dozens of birds. East Avenue Soil (Gull Lake) is located in the middle of the three seas, with an area of about 2,800 mu and a water depth of 3 meters. There are many kinds of fish and shrimp naturally growing in the water, which are famous for their fat and fragrant fish. This is the world of birds. There are about twenty or thirty kinds of birds, including red, blue and white. They fly around, sing leisurely and multiply here.

Zhahandaotu (also known as Swan Lake) is located in the easternmost part of the Three Seas, with a water surface of 1000 mu. Birds and reeds grow in the water. White swans come every spring and autumn to chase and play on the water. Deep in the sea, under a sand mountain 30 meters high, a 3-meter-high reed locks a piece of clear water, and the lake is unfathomable. The golden sand dunes are in sharp contrast with the blue lake, giving people a holy and magical feeling. Small bubble (Pearl Lake) is flat and spacious around the lake. Because of the hard soil, the number of lakes and small pools changes with rainfall, also known as Pearl Lake, which has a unique style. Ikle Shenhu (Shenyu Lake), the most sacred of which is Ikle Shenhu, is a sacred place for Mongolian shepherds to worship from generation to generation. The lake is shaped like a gourd, with unique scenery and surrounded by reeds. In summer, the lotus blooms in the lake, and all kinds of fish are regarded as gods by local people, and they have been left to fend for themselves for thousands of years. The lake has both beautiful scenery in the south of the Yangtze River and rich religious connotation. Moon Lake, shaped like a half moon, is also called Moon Lake. There are plenty of snails in the lake. When there is a high degree of hypoxia, they are forced to go ashore and become food for birds. The surrounding oasis grassland and the Elaeagnus angustifolia forest belt that locks the yellow sand make it a paradise in the desert.

At present, in order to better protect the ecological environment here, the Seven-Star Lake Tourist Area only focuses on Ikdotu Lake, and the other six lakes remain in a natural state. According to the resources and structure, the whole scenic spot is divided into seven areas: desert ecological viewing area, desert viewing area, desert leisure resort area, desert entertainment area, lakeside wetland viewing area, water entertainment area and ecological recuperation area. Entertainment activities include: camel team, horse team, go-karting, sand motorcycle, electric cruise ship, speedboat, fishing, beach volleyball, football, desert surfing, paragliding, sand skiing, sand sculpture, desert exploration and so on.
