What are the must-see places on the campus of Hong Kong University?

I, the 18th master of HKU (I didn't expect time to pass so quickly, and I really don't want to graduate from re), will answer this question. I took all the pictures at random during my study ~ You are welcome to add any incomplete ones ~!

HKU is located on the bustling Hong Kong Island, only two or three subway stations away from Central. Usually, many people come to visit and play, and the traffic here is very convenient. Take the Hong Kong Island Line directly to the HKU subway station and take the elevator from Exit A to get there.

1. main building)& Lukou Hall & Music building

Let's talk about the history first: this building was completed and started in 1912, and it has a history of 17 years. The building belongs to Edwardian architecture and adopts post-Renaissance architectural form, which is a model of classical renaissance architecture in Hong Kong. (Answer: When I was very young, I visited HKU with my relatives. When I first met main building, it was really because it fell in love with this campus. Later, I decided to study here, and now my dream has come true.)

I went home late to review before the final, and when I passed the main building, I saw it vaguely in the dim light.

There is an auditorium called "Lu Youtang" in the main building, which is usually closed to the public. It will be used as an examination room during the exam, and it can accommodate hundreds of people. Hundreds of people sit together in the auditorium for exams only once a semester (the landlord is really concerned about this ~ ~)

Well, after coming out of Lukou Hall, there is a small and distinctive building opposite the main building, which is the Music Building of HKU.

2. School gate & Centennial campus &; Zhihua Pavilion

During my study, I was often asked where the school gate with the big word "Hong Kong University" was. I wanted to point out the "East Gate" to those tourists, that is, the school gate, but on second thought, I felt that the school gate was so small that those four words were not big enough ... So I pointed out two roads to them, one leading to the East Gate and the other being the big red wall logo of the centennial campus (but that is not the school gate)

The picture below shows the "East Gate" of the school gate of HKU (but those four words were blocked by trees) Excuse me, there is no recent picture on the mobile phone ~)

The picture below shows the big red wall logo on the centennial campus (not bad, usually more tourists come here to punch in than the school gate)

The centennial campus is a quiet place, and it is decorated with a little bridge and flowing water. The breeze blows on the face and students study. The surrounding building above is Zhihua Pavilion (a place where students usually study and discuss, and the Zhihua Pavilion is fully equipped, but only students can enter)

3. Libraries:

There are many libraries in HKU, but I haven't finished visiting them yet. Students usually go to the main lib, which has 6 floors. Before the final exam, there is jasper (a giant docile and lovely shepherd dog comes to the library) to meet with you. There are also law libraries, music libraries and the like.

There are often student debates and other activities outside the library. From time to time, Hong Kong stars come to hold small show. Last time I read a book in the library, I looked down and found Wei Lan singing below, as well as dear jane (the university in Hong Kong is a magical place ~)

4. Zhuang Yueming &; Mei Tang & Auditorium &; Back hill

Zhuang Yueming is also a famous building of HKU, with a unique appearance. There is a story in it, which is said to be a building donated by Li Ka-shing, in the name of his late wife's life. There are many supernatural stories in HKU related to the main building and Zhuang Yueming Building, so I won't elaborate here. There are many students who come here at ordinary times, so you don't need to worry about some legendary problems at all. There are several restaurants in Zhuangyueming Building. I often go to have afternoon tea when I am tired of studying, and look at the surrounding green plants by the way, but now Meixin seems to be closed to people outside the school.

Ok, then go out from the top floor of Zhuang Yueming and climb to the back hill to see the instrument hall and Meitang.

In addition, the famous Taiping Mountain is just a short walk from the back hill to Longhu Mountain and then to the central area. Answer: I usually like to invite my classmates to climb mountains for fitness, and by the way, I like the famous night view of Hong Kong and the superior geographical location of HKU (the night view of Taiping Mountain is really beautiful ~! Ok, it's not HKU anymore, and it's beside the point ~)

There are actually many places where HKU can punch in. I think there are scenery everywhere. Haha, we need everyone to come here and explore slowly with the eyes of discovering beauty ~ Answer, please continue to review the final first, welcome to supplement, and thank you for reading!
