Guangzhou Dongyong Tourist Attractions

Dongyong Town belongs to Nansha District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, located in the belly of the Pearl River Delta and southeast of Panyu District, Guangzhou City. It is 40 kilometers away from Guangzhou city center in the north, 64 kilometers away from Hong Kong and Macao in the south, only 18 kilometers away from Nansha Port and 28 kilometers away from Lianhuashan Port. Dongyong Town was formed in January 2006 from the merger of the original Dongyong Town, Yuwotou Town, and Xiqiao Village in Lingshan Town. On December 1, 2012, it was placed under the jurisdiction of Nansha District from Panyu District.

Kit Cheung Wai Folk Culture and Customs Museum

Kit Cheung Wai Folk Culture and Customs Museum reproduces the Shatin wedding scene. The second floor of the Customs Museum is the folk culture exhibition area. Pictures, texts and objects introduce Tung Chung people’s birth customs, living customs, age customs, folk crafts and Tung Chung delicacies. The real scene shows the scene of the elder's birthday and the younger generation toasting tea and wine. There are customs related to video playback.

Tung Chung Farming, Fishing and Hunting Exhibition Hall

Tung Chung Farming, Fishing and Hunting Exhibition Hall is located in Haoyong Fengqing Street, adjacent to Tung Chung Tower. The first floor of Tung Chung Farming, Fishing and Hunting Exhibition Hall is used as a farming culture exhibition area , mainly displays traditional agricultural tools, their use and farming diagrams, and introduces people to the farming history and culture of Tung Chung.

Tung Chung Tower

Tung Chung Tower is located on the north side of today's Tung Chung Nursing Home. The building is made of blue bricks and is divided into three floors. On the walls of each floor, They are all densely covered with gun holes that are wide on the inside and narrow on the outside, with angles facing in all directions. They are also lookout holes for monitoring peripheral movements. The wall is thick and solid, wide at the bottom and narrow at the top. The roof extends outward by more than one meter on all sides, with guardrails built above, forming a platform. Around the roof of the building, every one meter or so, there is a fist-sized gun hole facing the ground, which is used to shoot at those who attack the foot of the gun tower. In the blockhouse, there are fir steps leading from the bottom to the top, about 0.8 meters wide.

Butterfly Building

Butterfly Building, located in Jinyuwotou Shuangqian Sugar Co., Ltd. (formerly Yuwotou Sugar Factory), is a two-story light yellow building that is a typical Chinese and Western style building. A small building in a combined style. The foyer and stair passage in the middle connect the polygonal buildings with the same form on the left and right sides. It looks like a butterfly spreading its wings, so people call it the "Butterfly Building".

Tung Chung San Sheng Kong Temple

Tung Chung San Sheng Kong Temple is a two-entry style building with a brick and wood structure of green bricks and green tiles. It is located to the north and east of the Tung Chung River. On the embankment about 20 meters west of the Yong Highway Bridge, the temple is 5 meters high, 12.5 meters long, and 5.5 meters wide, with a total area of ??69 square meters. The statue of Guan Gong still sits in the temple, with Guan Ping and Zhou Cang on both sides. Five smaller statues of Bodhisattvas have also been added.
