Luoyang Tomb Museum

Luoyang Tomb Museum is located at the top of Mangshan Mountain in the north of Luoyang.

Located at the top of Mangshan Mountain in the north of Luoyang City, it is the only museum in China with historical objects as exhibits, which systematically reflects the development and changes of ancient tombs. After the upgrade, the building area of the museum has increased to more than 20,000 square meters. According to the contents of the exhibition, it is divided into three parts: the grand view of burial system-Luoyang ancient tombs, the mausoleum of the Northern Wei Dynasty in Luoyang, and the brick painting history-the brick carving exhibition in Song Dynasty.

Among them, the "Grand View of Burial System-Collection of Ancient Tombs in Luoyang" includes three exhibitions: On the Other Side of this Shore-Exhibition of Ancient Tombs Culture, Heluo Tombs-Exhibition of Typical Tombs in Luoyang and Grand View of Ancient Tombs Murals in Henan.

Through the emergence, development and evolution of ancient tombs, we can interpret the cultural significance behind buildings, murals, sculptures, utensils, decorations and inscriptions in different periods.

The Mausoleum of Luoyang in the Northern Wei Dynasty focuses on the mausoleum system of Luoyang Mausoleum in the Northern Wei Dynasty and the wonderful story of the Northern Wei Dynasty behind Jingling. History of Brick Painting-Collection of Carved Bricks in Song and Jin Dynasties 106 pieces of carved bricks in Song and Jin Dynasties are exhibited, which systematically reflects the secular life and spiritual pursuit of people in Song and Jin Dynasties in Central Plains.

The exhibition of the museum is 6 meters underground, and the masonry materials in the original tomb are restored to 1: 1. Luoyang Tomb Museum mainly displays 25 ancient tombs selected from tens of thousands of ancient tombs in Luoyang from the Western Han Dynasty to the Song and Jin Dynasties.

Among them, in the section of "Grand View of Burial System-Collection of Ancient Tombs in Luoyang", Heluo Site Tombs-Luoyang Typical Tombs Exhibition divides 25 ancient tombs of these nine dynasties into four chapters in chronological order: Qingyang Ancient Tombs, Thorny Copper Camel, Yanyun Mangling and Danqing Ancient Tombs, telling the evolution and development of ancient tombs in Luoyang, as well as the information of the times and cultural relics contained in the tombs, so as to create an immersive experience for tourists.

Millennium Hell-A Grand View of Ancient Tomb Murals in Henan * * shows 65 ancient murals in Henan 18 group from the Han Dynasty to the Republic of China, so visitors can learn more about the tomb culture. Among them, the famous "Buqianqiu" and "Ghost Map" are the representatives of more than ten exquisite mural tombs, the earliest existing physical paintings in China, and the pioneering works of Chinese painting; Among them, the map of Nuo Opera is the most complete physical data reflecting the culture of Nuo Opera in ancient China.
