Because the section from Weishan to Tongguan on the old road from Luoyang to Xi'an is mostly in the valley, which is as deep and dangerous as Han, it was called Han Valley in ancient times. During the Warring States Period, Qin Xiaogong seized the land of Weihan from Wei State. This setting is Hangu Pass. This pass is 7.5 kilometers long from east to west, and the valley road can only accommodate one vehicle. It is known that one man can guard the pass and ten thousand people cannot open it. In 241 BC, the states of Chu, Zhao, Han, and Wei jointly attacked Qin, but were defeated. In modern times, there are Lingyin Wangqi Tower, Mengchangjun Rooster Crying Tower, and Taichu Palace where Laozi wrote the Tao Te Ching.
