China Exit Process and Procedures

1. Passport application: Take photos, ID cards and household registration books to the exit-entry office of the Public Security Bureau where the household registration is located to apply for a passport. 1 ~ 15 days is preferable.

2. apply for a visa: if you have a passport, you can apply for a visa at the embassy of the country where you plan to travel.

3. You can buy a plane ticket after you get your passport and visa.

4. It is recommended to determine the return itinerary in advance and buy a return ticket to print the receipt.

1. Passport processing flow:

1. Bring my ID card or household registration book to the exit-entry administration department of the local police station and public security county bureau to receive the Approval Form for China citizens to go abroad (territory) for personal reasons (hereinafter referred to as the "application form").

2. Fill in the application form.

3. Submit the application. When submitting an application, you must bring the following materials: the original ID card or household registration book, the first page of household registration book, my information page, change page and a copy of your ID card. Complete the original application form. A color photo that meets the requirements.

4. Get a passport. After accepting the application, the local entry-exit administration office takes 14 working days to approve, make and issue passports. When you get a passport, you must bring your ID card or residence booklet, get a passport "Receipt" and a 2 yuan fee.

2. Materials required for visa:

1. 2 carefully filled-in application forms, with recent ID photos attached

2. Passport (valid for no less than 9 days after the visa expires) and a copy of identity page

3. Reservation and confirmation certificate of return air tickets

4. Hotel reservation in this country, Transportation and schedule

5. Proof of the source of funds for this trip (I can produce bank deposit certificate, property certificate or real estate, securities, etc.)

6. Original and one copy of medical insurance certificate during my stay

7. Original household registration book (including copies of all pages and extra pages)

8. Original certificate of the applicant's position and leave permission issued by the work unit. The certificate shall list the name, position, telephone number, address, fax number, signature and seal of the unit.
