Full map of Beijing
Beijing is located in the east of northern China, which is the neck of a rooster.
Beijing, the capital of China, has a long history. It is located in North China, with plains in the southeast and Yanshan and Taihang Mountains in the northwest.
Beijing is surrounded by mountains in the west, north and northeast, and the Beijing Plain slowly inclines to the Bohai Sea in the southeast. The elevation of Beijing Plain is 20-60m, and the mountainous area is generally 1000- 1500m. Dongling Mountain, which borders Hebei, is 2309 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in Beijing.

Chaoyang District is located in the east of Beijing, bordering Dongcheng District, Fengtai District and Haidian District in the west, Changping District and Shunyi District in the north, Tongzhou District in the east and Daxing District in the south, with an area of 470.8 square kilometers and an average elevation of 34 meters. It is the largest area in the central city of Beijing. Chaoyang District is an important industrial base in Beijing.
