Succulents are also called succulents Plant, succulent, means a plant with thick, succulent stems, leaves or roots.

The succulent plant area covers an area of ??about 4 hectares and was founded in 1999. It has three indoor exhibition halls: the cactus plant exhibition hall, the succulent plant exhibition hall, and the forest succulent plant exhibition hall, as well as a simulated desert. Environmental outdoor exhibition area. This area currently has a collection of nearly 3,000 species (including varieties) of succulent plants from more than 50 families. It is one of the most distinctive specialized parks in our garden and an important base for succulent plant cultivation and garden application demonstration, scientific research and popular science education in my country.

Rainforest World

The Rainforest World covers an area of ??about 16 hectares. In the park, there are the "Ziyunde Road" and "Gaodu Qindong" scenic spots of the old twenty-four scenic spots in Xiamen, as well as municipal cultural relics. Protected unit - Qiaoxi Bridge built in the Ming Dynasty.

On the basis of maintaining the original natural vegetation, the garden enriches species diversity by introducing and cultivating plants with rainforest characteristics, forming a rainforest vegetation with multiple community levels, showing strangulation phenomena, flowers on old stems, Rainforest features such as hanging gardens and root phenomena. A fog forest system is built in the park to atomize tap water and spray it out, confusing the space and looming, creating a fantasy world that is both illusory and real.

Spraying time of Rainforest World during National Day: 9:30-11:30, 14:30-16:30

Tianjie Temple

Tianjie Temple was built in the late Ming Dynasty In the early Qing Dynasty, monk Yuesong raised funds to build it. Since ancient times, the temple bell has been ringing 108 times every morning. The bell's melodious sound cleanses people's hearts and solves the "one hundred and eight troubled dreams". "The Dawn Bell of Heaven" is one of the old "Little Eight Scenic Spots" in Xiamen and one of the New Twenty Scenic Spots in Xiamen. Behind Tianjie Temple, there are huge rocks and caves. There are stone carvings in the caves, which were inscribed by Huang Riji during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The two ends of the cave are connected. When the wind blows, the sound echoes in the cave, and the mountains roar and the valley echoes. The roar is endless, like a tiger roaring, hence the name. There are many inscriptions and dozens of poems on the stone walls inside and outside the cave. Among them, Huang Riji's "Four Scenes of Immortal Rock" is the most valuable, and the Ming Dynasty's poems by generals who conquered Japan are the most valuable. The latter is listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit.

Hundred Flowers Hall

The Baihua Hall is in a garden-within-a-garden layout, with a lotus pond in the center, on which lotus, king lily and water lily are all in full bloom. The overall building is framed by a traditional Chinese garden. Five groups of exhibition halls are arranged along the pool, either connected by corridors or connected by roads. They are all well-proportioned with white walls, pink columns, and glazed tile roofs. Exhibitions with different themes are held throughout the year or during holidays.

In the Baihua Hall, along the corridor, you can see more than 100 kinds of plants, such as the old crow's mouth, the pole vine, the fog, the hanging melon tree, the worry-free tree, and the golden camellia. A unique corner of the shade plant area is dominated by ferns, with ancient vine paths and stones, green moss covering the stones, a close space, and infinite landscapes, forming a three-dimensional painting with a unique southern scenery. In the corner of the corridor, there are two stone carvings in running script called "Yanwu" by the famous Chinese gardener Chen Congzhou and "Rong Yin Xiaoshu" written by Gao Huai, a famous calligrapher from Xiamen.

Araucaria sparse forest lawn

Araucaria sparse forest lawn, referred to as Araucaria lawn, was built in the 1960s and designed by Professor Sun Xiaoxiang, a famous Chinese garden master. It is located on the south side of Wanshi Lake. The area is about 1 hectare.

There are 3 genera and 37 species in the Araucariaceae family. There are currently 15 species of 3 genera introduced in our garden. About 10 hectares of Araucaria heterophylla forest are planted on the southeast side of the Araucaria lawn. It is currently the largest pure Araucaria heterophylla forest in my country.

The party and state leaders planted many commemorative trees here, including a large-leaf camphor tree planted by Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of reform and opening up, when he inspected Xiamen in February 1984. It has become a place where people commemorate the great achievements of a generation of great men. Peng Zhen, Wan Li, Wang Zhen and other leaders also planted commemorative trees here.

Wanshi Lake

Wanshi Lake was originally Wanshiyan Reservoir. It was built in 1952. It was Xiamen City’s war preparation reservoir at that time. It is composed of Shuimokeng Creek and Shuimokeng Creek, two major water systems in the park. Formed by the confluence of Qiao Creek, it has now become the core of the botanical garden landscape. On the north side of Wanshi Lake are pine and fir gardens and bamboo paths, on the south side are Araucaria lawns, on the east side are Palm Island and Baihua Hall, and on the west side of the dam are rows of Washington palms, which are native to America and have a southern charm. The reflection of the lake light is a unique scenery.

The twin bridges of "Chunqiu" and "Tianqu" on the lake form an interesting place, and there are also water pavilions such as "Yangzhi Pavilion", "Cangqu Pavilion" and "Shiran Pavilion" dotted on it, with rippling waves. Extraordinary interest. The scenery of lakes, mountains and lush vegetation form one of Xiamen’s famous sceneries - “Ten Thousands of Stones and Green Green”. 5. Epidemic Prevention Policy
