Tiantong Temple is located at the foot of Taibai Mountain, 25 kilometers east of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It was founded in the first year of Yongkang in the Western Jin Dynasty (300 years). According to the downtown area of Ningbo, Tiantong Temple, about 30 kilometers away, takes about 75-90 minutes by bus. Visitors can take the bus to Ningbo East Bus Station in advance, and then walk about 100 meters northwest (you can ask) to Fuming Station in Ningbo (next to century avenue), where you can take the through train 162 to Tiantong Temple (about 10- 15 minutes). The fare is 3 yuan.

Take bus 162 to Tiantong Station at Fuming Bus Station near Ningbo East Bus Station, and walk 1.4 km to the mountain. It takes about an hour by car.

From Zhoushan direction: via Yongzhou Expressway (Zhoushan Cross-sea Bridge), turn at Jiaochuan Interchange to the east section of Ningbo Ring Expressway (Beilun, Jinhua and Xiangshan directions), turn at Wuxiang Interchange to Beilun direction, get off at Wangyu Exit, turn right, take too few Bailing tunnels, and turn left according to the travel instructions.

To Hangzhou: cross Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, cross Ningbo East Exit, then go straight along Tongsan Expressway (Beilun direction), get off at Wangyu Exit, and the rest are the same as Shanghai.
