Tianzhu Mountain Self-guided Tour Guide

Transportation:

Hefei - Qianshan (Tianzhu Mountain), there are two ways to choose from: train and car:

The trains have the following trains:

2103 Hefei-Nanchang departs from Hefei at 08:55, arrives at Tianzhu Mountain at 13:14, hard seat ¥13

1403 Bengbu - Guangzhou East departs from Hefei at 16:23, arrives at Tianzhu Mountain at 19:18, hard seat ¥24

1505 Hefei - Shenzhen West departs from Hefei at 16:50, arrives at Tianzhu Mountain at 19:48 Zhushan, hard seat ¥26

Recommend 1403. This train is very clean. Although there are not many people on the train in Hefei, compartments 9-12 are very empty.

How to take a bus: After exiting Hefei Bus Station, go to the left for 20 or 30 meters and you will see another smaller station. There are buses from Hefei to Qianshan there, most of which are Iveco, if you are looking for a high-speed bus, the fare is ¥25-30, and it takes about 3 hours to reach Qianshan County.

Qianshan (Tianzhu Mountain) - Tianzhu Mountain Cableway or Nantianmen. There are minibuses and minibuses going to Tianzhu Mountain in Qianshan County during the day. They usually solicit tourists on the main road of the county and are easy to find. The terminal station is Tianzhu Mountain Nantianmen. Along the way, you pass Yezhai (the place for rafting on the Qianjiang River), Sanzu Temple, and Tianzhu Mountain Cableway. The fare is ¥7-8. The whole journey is more than 20 kilometers and takes about 1 hour. There are Chinese trains at the train station in the evening, but walking on mountain roads at night is not very safe and the price is much higher. Especially if the number of people traveling with you is relatively small, it is recommended to stay and rest in the center of the county, and then go up the mountain early the next morning.

The Mazda bus from the train station to the county seat is about ¥3.

Return route

Normally, no one starts their return journey in the morning. The routes in this article all depart from Qianshan County after noon.

1. Qianshan-Hefei

Before two o'clock in the afternoon in Qianshan County, there is basically a bus to Hefei every hour. Most of them stop at the bus station to wait for passengers. From time to time, they also go around the county to solicit passengers and take the expressway. The fare is around ¥30.

BTW: I found that the cars in Anhui are very strong, and they stop to pick up passengers on the highway. Of course, such passengers are considered strong, so they ran to the highway to stop the car! What needs to be stated is: I strongly oppose such dangerous behavior that violates traffic rules! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Accommodation:

There are many hotels in Qianshan County, which are relatively cheap in the off-season. A quasi-three-star standard room costs less than 80 yuan. The specific price depends on your bargaining level. There are also private rooms with good conditions. You can get a double-standard room with TV, air conditioning and 24-hour hot water supply for as little as RMB 50.

There are inns run by farmers at the foot of Tianzhu Mountain. I personally think there is no need to stay at the foot of the mountain. If you arrive late in Qianshan County, stay in the county town. Otherwise, go directly to a hotel on the mountain for accommodation.

The hotels on the mountain are concentrated near the end of the Tianzhu Mountain Cableway. Among them, Tianzhu Villa and Woyun Villa are of higher grade and more expensive. The price of a standard room in the off-season should not be less than 80 (maybe will be higher). There are also many shops opened by local mountain people on the mountain. Their appearance is far less beautiful than the two mentioned above, but the interior decoration of the rooms is okay, with TVs and gas water heaters, and they are relatively clean and tidy. We stayed at "Wende Villa" and got a standard room for ¥65. The proprietress of this restaurant is quite nice and she is very welcoming. The manager’s name is Wu Dailong, his phone number is 0556-8145228, 0556-8926569, or 13013193938. The proprietress said that she should inform her in advance before going, and she could contact a car to pick him up in Qianshan County.

Food:

Eating feels much cheaper and more affordable. This is true whether in Qianshan County or Tianzhu Mountain. I had breakfast and lunch in Qianshan County. There are not many breakfast stalls there, and you can have a full meal for 2 yuan. Lunch was done at the "Guilin Hotel" next to the bus station. Two dishes and one soup were less than ¥ 20. I casually asked the boss about the origin of the hotel’s name. I thought it was because I met a fellow villager, but the boss told me that it was based on the name of the proprietress. Before going to Tianzhu Mountain, many people reminded us to bring more dry food, saying that we can eat on the mountain. It’s expensive, and judging from our personal experience, at least in the off-season, this is an exaggeration. We ate at Wende Villa, where we live, and ordered three dishes. When we finished and paid the bill, the landlady took the initiative to give us a discount, and we spent *** 22 yuan (according to the menu, the price should be more than 30 yuan, so the landlady took the initiative to discount, so we didn't have the nerve to bargain). The portions of the dishes are also pretty good. The water and food sold on the mountain are not ridiculously expensive. Mineral water is generally ¥3 for a bottle and tea eggs are ¥1.5 for two. It is recommended that you bring some chocolate, compressed biscuits and other foods that can replenish energy and do not take up much space. Touring Tianzhu Mountain is still very physically demanding. If you live in the mountains and don’t want to eat there, you can bring a few packs of instant noodles. Hot water is available anyway. The hotel on the mountain prepares breakfast for guests starting at 5:00. It includes noodles and egg fried rice. It costs ¥4 a portion, which is basically enough to fill you up.

Recommended tour routes:

Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area is divided into two parts, Xiguan and Dongguan. Group tours only visit Xiguan, and as far as the Xiguan line is concerned, many tour groups do not You will go to Zongguan Village, Baibu Ladder and other scenic spots, and you may even miss the Penglai Peak with excellent scenery.

If you don’t go to these scenic spots, in my opinion, you can’t be considered to have been to Tianzhu Mountain!

The traditional route is to visit Xiguan first, stay at a hotel halfway up the mountain after visiting Xiguan, and then go down the mountain from Dongguan early the next morning. We went to the Nantianmen of Tianzhu Mountain in the morning and bought tickets there to enter the Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area. The ticket price is ¥50. It can be as cheap as ¥40 with a student ID card. Climb up from Nantianmen, pass by the Dapeng Hall Sutra, Bajie Chanting Sutra, Tianwa Peak★ and other scenic spots, and arrive at the hotel gathering place on the mountain in about an hour.

There is a fork in the road leading to Tianwa Peak. You must climb it. There is a viewing platform there with a very wide view. It is a point for watching the sunrise on Tianzhu Mountain. In addition, there is a path past the observation deck that leads all the way to Tianwa Rock, where you can initially experience the fun of climbing to the top of almost every beautiful mountain in Tianzhu Mountain! After arriving at the hotel gathering place, it is recommended to find a place to settle down immediately, adjust your luggage, and take a rest. Try to keep your luggage as minimal as possible. It is almost impossible to carry a huge bag after visiting the Mystic Valley★.

Start from the hotel and take the westernmost road, pass through June Snow, and choose the eastern road at the Nanguankou fork. There is a circular scenic spot after passing Feilai Pavilion. It is recommended to visit the Mystic Valley first. There are more forked roads there and there are more people. If you are really not sure which way to go to the Mystic Valley, just ask for directions. In fact, there are many guideposts. :). After you actually arrive at the Mystic Valley, you will find that a bag that is a little bigger is definitely a burden. Why, experience it for yourself! In addition to the wide view of the Mystic Valley, there are many attractions. Go forward to the next fork in the road, follow the direction of the road sign, and go to General Guanzhai★. You can walk for about 20 minutes to reach an ancient fort from the Song Dynasty (I still haven’t thought that anyone would go there to attack the city. It would be nice if you could climb up there. Want to fight? The ancients were awesome!). There is an almost vertical 100-meter-high fort on the left side of the fort. If you have the strength, you can go down and then climb up the Buyun Ladder. If you are not too confident, just stand there and look at Zongguan Village from a distance and then go back to the fork in the road.

No need. Unfortunately, the second day of the trip to Dongguan was full of steep mountain roads. Return to the fork and continue climbing. You will soon reach Duxian Bridge★, which is the best place to take pictures of the main peak of Tianzhu Mountain★. After Duxian Bridge, continue walking past the Emperor's Stone. Not far ahead is a round, low stone platform. There is also a mountain girl selling things on the stone platform. Don't doubt it, that is the Baiyue Platform. There is a mountain road extending to the left side of Yuetai. Don't hesitate, there is the most beautiful Penglai Peak★ waiting for you! Standing on the top of Penglai Peak, you might as well pay attention to the cliff under Buxian Bridge on the left. There seems to be an eagle there. Nest! Even if you see an eagle, please don’t get excited. You must know that you are already standing on the top of a mountain with cliffs on three sides.

You can start your journey down the mountain after returning to Baiyue Terrace. As a friendly reminder, there is a WC between Duxianqiao and Baiyue Terrace. It seems that I have not seen this thing again during the journey. It is best to relax there. However, there are not many tourists in Tianzhu Mountain and the vegetation is lush. The conditions for folk songs are unique, so don’t push yourself too hard. The route down the mountain is relatively clear, passing through Qinglongbei★, Wanjingtai★, Qinglongxuan★ and other scenic spots and going down to Alchemy Lake★. Take the left side of the three-way road. After passing through a long mountain boulevard, you can see Tianwa Peak and your residence. When passing through Alchemy Lake, don't take the wrong road to Dongguan, otherwise you won't know when. Go back to your residence. There are two forks on the road from Alchemy Lake to Dongguan. There is a house selling things at the second one. If you walk a while past Alchemy Lake and find such a house, you should go up and ask. Asked if we went the wrong way. We set off from the hotel around 12:00 and returned to the hotel around 6:00. It gets dark on the mountain around 7:00, so it is best to return to the hotel before dark.

On a sunny day. The starry sky on the mountain is beautiful. You can go to the open space near the hotel to watch the stars at night. It is best to go to bed early because the next day's trip to Dongguan is extremely difficult. The sunrise time in Tianzhu Mountain in April is 6:00 sharp. Tianwa Peak is a good viewing platform. You can start from the hotel at 5:40 and go to Tianwa Peak to watch the sunrise. It is already bright, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to see the road. After watching the sunrise, you can start walking after breakfast. The journey is over. It takes about 4 hours to go down the mountain at a normal speed from Dongguan to the stop of the downhill bus, and the fastest time is 3 hours. There is a cable car pointing to the hotel center. From there, take the road between several specialty shops. Not far away you can see Qinglong Lake, Woyun Villa and Dansha Pavilion. There is the exit of the mountain cable car. There is a road sign at the Sanchakou near the exit. Follow the instructions to head to Dongguan Peak★. The route is difficult and physically demanding. Bad friends should be considered carefully. The mountain road to Yingzhen Peak is carved out of the rock cliffs and is relatively difficult and dangerous. There is a bypass route at the bottom of the mountain. Friends who are really in difficulty can choose to go around it.

Not far from Yingzhen Peak, you will reach the fork in the road leading to Alchemy Lake. The journey thereafter requires a lot of physical support. Friends with poor physical strength can decide whether to continue here. If they are too tired, You can go to Alchemy Lake and then go back to the hotel and take the cable car down the mountain. If you decide to continue, congratulations, you will see more magnificent scenery! On the first line of Dongguan there are Echo Stage★, Two Lions Playing Balls★, Danying Stone★, Qianzhan Cliff★, Diecui Pavilion★, Datianmen★, Magpie Bridge★ and Qigu Sky Staircase★.

Go down from Nomad Changhuaiting, pass through two mountain streams, and walk for about 40 minutes to Dongdaemun. At this time, you will find that the ticket sales place at Dongdaemun is dilapidated and there is no one there! When you go out of Dongdaemun, you will reach the Tianzhu Mountain Cableway that you passed on the way up the mountain. There is a place selling tickets there. If you dress in a local style enough, I think you can escape the ticket if you go up the mountain from Dongguan. You can go down the mountain by taking the Tianzhu Mountain Cableway. If you are still interested, you can visit Sanzu Temple at the foot of the mountain, or go rafting in Yezhai. Personally, I think the rafting there is not interesting.

In addition to the more traditional route, you can choose to go up the mountain from Dongguan, rest on the mountain, visit Xiguan the next day and then go down the mountain from Nantianmen. See above for specific attraction routes. As mentioned before, it is possible to escape the entrance fee by walking this way, but this route is more physically demanding, and it should be noted that there are far fewer people selling water and food on the Dongguan line, so you need to prepare more. It is said that during the peak season, there are people checking tickets in Dongguan.

Note: The attractions marked ★ are the attractions that I think are worth recommending
