How to get to Macau from Dongguan?

Gongbei Port and Hengqin Port are just different in location. I can’t say which one is better. However, it is generally recommended to go through Gongbei Customs when traveling to Macau. Tour groups go through Hengqin Customs because there are fewer people passing through customs there and there are more parking spaces for buses, so travel agencies like to go there. But the distance there is also long. Vehicles usually go to Gongbei first and then to Hengqin. It takes almost half an hour from Gongbei to Hengqin.

You can just buy a two-day round-trip ticket. You don’t have to go with a tour group. You can go there by yourself. Macau is not big, the public transportation is convenient, and there are many free buses. After two days of playing, it’s quite nice to stay one night in Macau.
