Hainan Tourism School is the only tourism vocational education unit directly managed by Hainan Tourism Development Committee, the only provincial-level key public tourism secondary vocational school, the international tourism island construction application-oriented tourism professional training base, and the Hainan tourism professional training base.

The school was founded on 1999. At present, the school covers an area of 120 mu, which is adjacent to the "University Town" in the east, Guilin Ocean Coastal Tourism Resort in the north, a garden-like campus, brand-new teaching buildings and student apartments, like bright pearls embedded in the picturesque east coast of Haikou.

First, excellent teaching environment.

The school has the largest teaching simulation dining room, simulation guest room, simulation tour guide room, computer center, language lab and body building room in the province. Four student apartment buildings face south, with light and ventilation, warm in winter and cool in summer. Each dormitory has two bathrooms and two observation decks.

The school has set up 13 majors with 4986 students. Among them, the hotel service and management major is a national key demonstration major; The major of tour guide and travel agency service is a provincial key construction major; Golf management and tourism accounting are the dominant majors of the school.
