Where does Sanyang Temple Tower belong?
Sanyang Temple Tower is located in Gaoling Middle School, about 1.5 km southeast of Gaoling County. It was built in the middle and late years of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, located in the Zhao Hui Courtyard of Buddhist Temple, hence the name Zhao Hui Courtyard Tower. Because it is close to Jingyang and Xianyang, it is located in the Yang of Wei River, so it is also called "Sanyang Building". 1On August 6th, 956, Shaanxi Provincial People's Government listed it as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shaanxi Province. In June 2006, Gaoling Pagoda was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Sanyang Temple Tower, in terms of its shape and structure, is an octagonal 13-story brick tower with dense eaves and the top of a round vase made of bricks. The height is 53 meters. There is a ticket gate in the east, west, south and north of each floor, and there are no doors on the other four sides. Two bricks on each floor and two bricks on each tooth are staggered to the eighth brick, and then a fake rafter is made to overhang the eaves, that is, the eaves are folded back and inward, slightly upturned, and the structure is exquisite and firm. There are almost no points in the lower layer of the tower, and the upper layer gradually decreases. Strong structure, towering straight, straight at Han Yun. There are four arches on each floor of the tower, and the eaves overlap from the first floor to the seventh floor, and the eaves on the eighth floor protrude from the rafters. The eaves are slightly upturned, and the tower is covered with small holes or ventilated. Generally speaking, the tower of Sanyang Temple has a beautiful shape, especially the 108 wind chime hanging on the eaves. The breeze is coming, and the bells are jingling, which is very poetic.
Sanyang Temple Tower is one of the important towers in Tang Dynasty. A seven-level square brick tower and some of its attached cultural relics are well preserved, including four ancient monuments, 2 1 white jade Buddha statues featuring Sakyamuni, A _, and Infinite Life, and a stone sutra building. These existing Buddhist relics are of great historical and cultural value. The inscriptions of cultivating elegant workers with classic characters are numerous and colorful, which can provide a lot of information. According to the record of "Zhaojun Wang Gao _ Temple Monument", the jade in Lantian was restored, and the treasure of Jingshan was adopted and the painting was changed. It can be seen that the statues of this temple are extremely exquisite in both material selection and sculpture. This has been fully proved by the existing relics. Among them, the upper part of the monument of Wang Xiu Temple in Zhao County is carved with a Buddhist shrine, in which the statue of Sakyamuni is embossed, and the upper part of the monument is embossed with Sakyamuni and Duobao Buddha. The common practice of temples in Tang Dynasty is to carve niches on the headstones. There are 2 1 statues of white marble in the temple, of which 18 statues are hidden at the bottom of the tower and 3 statues stand outside the tower. Judging from the inscriptions on the statues, the tower body was carved by three statues of Gao Tianbao in the seventh year, and the statue outside the tower was carved by Shaoxing, a constant servant of Zhao Jun in the tenth year of Tianbao. These statues have been handed down from generation to generation through carving art. The three statues in the tower are the main Buddha supported by Sanyang Temple Tower, with Sakyamuni Buddha in the middle, A _ Buddha on the right and Infinite Life Buddha on the left. These three statues are similar in size, and the tallest one is that one. Four or five meters, the lowest is one meter three, and the artistic style is unified, all of which are masterpieces of Beiqi. The head is carved with a smooth and polished bun, with a plump face, slightly open eyes and a serene expression. Wear the cassock that is beneficial to the right shoulder, make a statement with both hands or make a fearless and voluntary seal. Wear a bracelet on your wrist and sit on your lap. These three main buddhas are precious because they are from the hands of the royal gaos thought. The imperial tablet of the temple in Yuan Dynasty, also known as "Three Buddhas and Qilin Garden", has become synonymous with the temple, which shows its far-reaching influence. Other figurines in the tower are now located on three walls at the bottom. Most of them are sitting on Buddha, and there is only one Buddha statue. The height is between 20 and 48 centimeters. Its shape is similar to that of the three Buddha statues. One is good at sitting on the Buddha, with fearless vows in his hands and two disciples on both sides. Bodhisattva is sitting in a right hand position, sitting on a slender waist-girding round seat, and making fearless vows with both hands. Most of these statues have a high level of carving skills and remarkable modeling characteristics, which can be described as fine sculptures.
