Guilin Travel Notes

Summer vacation is here, and my parents took me to travel to Guilin and Yangshuo. My mother said that Guilin is in Guangxi, so I couldn’t wait to find Guangxi on the map.

The first time I got on a plane, I was nervous and happy. I sat at the window and looked down. The house and car had turned into toys. After a while, we flew to the white clouds. We first took a flight to Guilin Airport, and then took a bus to the hotel.

The next day, we took a cruise and took a swim in the Li River. Along the way I looked at the scenery and took photos. I saw the reflection of the yellow cloth, and the strange stone patterns on the mountain were like pieces of yellow cloth reflected in the water. I also saw the Nine Horse Painting Mountain. The Nine Horse Painting Mountain is named because the mountain can see nine horses. If anyone can see the nine horses, he is the champion. When Premier Zhou visited that year, he saw nine horses at a glance, but I only saw three horses. The river is crystal clear, and the mountains on both sides of the river are reflected in the water, like a beautiful landscape painting.

On the third day, we rode our bicycles along the mountain path and went rafting. We bought a lot of water guns and took a bamboo raft rafting on the Yulong River. I saw small fish swimming in the clear stream. I was having a water fight while rafting on the bamboo raft, and I was all wet. The river water is clear and cool. Summer seems to be gone. It’s so refreshing!

The Li River is really beautiful. The tour guide told me: Guilin has the best scenery in the world, and Yangshuo has the best scenery in Guilin.

The four-day trip was so relaxing!
