An idiom for good travel
An idiom for a good trip: Overjoyed.
Hao is the fourth tone, which means hobby or liking. Traveling is an activity of going out and seeing the outside world. According to the literal meaning, "overjoyed" means to like to go out and see the outside, so we think of the idiom "overjoyed".
"Good" corresponds to "Happiness"; "Travel" corresponds to "Expected".
But if you interpret this idiom in this way, it will be meaningless. The word "wang" in overjoyed means hope; expectation. The interpretation of the word overjoyed is: encountering an unexpected happy event; feeling very happy.
This idiom comes from Su Shi's "Yi Li Shu" of the Song Dynasty: "It has been eight years since Qi Kuo; how can it be said that we will see the sun again; we are approaching the Central Plains; I insult the book especially; I am overjoyed."
