Sichuan Daliangshan Tourist Attractions

The tourist attractions of Daliangshan in Sichuan include Muli Temple, Mahu Lake, Jinlintan, Jianchang Ancient City and Lugu Lake.

1, Muli Temple

Muli Temple is a key cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province. Located at the foot of Dagna Bushan in Niyidian Village, Taoba Township, Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, it is more than 300 kilometers away from Xichang City and about 60 kilometers away from the county seat. It was once one of the largest Huangdi temples in Kangba Tibetan area, and it has a special position in Tibetan area. Founded in A.D. 1656, it is another big temple built after Waerzhai Temple and Wu Kang Temple.

Rao Jiongba laid the foundation stone and presided over the construction for three years, covering an area of about 80,000 square meters. The full name of Tibetan-Murigodan Zhu Xi Qulelang Bajiwalin.

2. Mahu Lake

The lake in Jinsha River basin, the main stream of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, is located in Leibo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, adjacent to Jinsha River in the east, and belongs to the first-class tributary of Jinsha River. Lake water flows into Jinsha River through underground diving. The lake is surrounded by mountains. The lake is rectangular, with a length of 5.5 kilometers from north to south, a width of 1 ~ 2.5 kilometers from east to west, a width of 2.3 kilometers at its widest point, and an area of 7.32 square kilometers. With an average depth of 65.7 meters, it is the third largest deep-water lake in China.

3. Golden Scale Beach

Located in the second section of Qionghai Road, Xichang City, it is a paradise for children to play. The sun on the golden beach is very strong. Before the first month, children would wear swimsuits to play in the water, and they would roll their pants barefoot to catch small fish and shrimp at the seaside. The water in Golden Beach is relatively clean in Qionghai, and the small conch basks in the shallow beach.

4. Jianchang Ancient City

Jianchang Ancient City, also known as Xichang Ancient City, is located in Shifu Street, Xichang City, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was built in the 20th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1387), with a history of more than 600 years. The ancient city of Jianchang in the Ming Dynasty was square, with four walls1200m long and an area of 144 hectares. There are more than 2,400 cultural relics in the ancient city, and ancient sites, ancient tombs, ancient stone carvings, rock paintings and ancient buildings are all over Xichang City.

The existing area is about 130 hectares, with Sipailou as the center and radiating in all directions. It is called North Street in the north, South Street in the south, Cang Street in the west and Jeff in the east, and the four streets intersect.

5. Lugu Lake

Lugu Lake, located at the junction of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province and ninglang county, Yunnan Province, is under the jurisdiction of Sichuan and Yunnan, bordering Lugu Lake Town, Yanyuan County (formerly Zuosuo District) in the east and Yongning Township, ninglang county in the west. The lake is slightly northwest-southeast, with an area of 50. 1 km2 and a storage capacity of 2.252 billion cubic meters. Lugu Lake is a plateau rift lake, belonging to Litang River system, a tributary of Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It is the source of Xiaojin River and flows into Jinsha River through Yalong River.
