The starting point of this sightseeing road along the Yellow River is from Jiaxian, Shaanxi to Fugu, Shaanxi. It is a complete highway along the Yellow River, and most of this route is in the charming Grand Canyon between Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces. Driving along the sightseeing road, you can generally see the majestic water of the Yellow River. You can also enjoy the precipitous beauty of the canyon by the way.

Self-driving route: Jiaxian County-Fugu County-Qiangtou Township (along the north starting point of Huangguang Road)

Day 1 day:

Jiaxian-190km-Fugu

Itinerary: Visit Baiyun Mountain and Luxiang Temple in Jiaxian County in the morning. Then go south along Huangguang Road. The first stop is the Millennium Jujube Garden in Nihegou, Jiaxian County. Along Huangguang Road, you can enjoy the majestic Shanxi-Shaanxi Grand Canyon again. Go upstream, arrive at Fugu County in the evening, and spend the night in Fugu.

Baiyun Mountain

Baiyun Mountain is located on the bank of the Yellow River, 5 kilometers south of Jiaxian County in northern Shaanxi Province. It is famous for its historic site Baiyun Temple and the strange scenery of the Yellow River Gorge at the foot of the mountain. Baiyun Mountain was founded in Song Dynasty, mainly in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Luxiangsi

Luxiang Temple is located on the precipice of the Yellow River in the northeast of Jiaxian County. It is named after a huge stone at the foot of the mountain that looks like a censer. Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the temple has a main hall, a side hall, a mountain gate and a stone archway. Standing in the incense burner temple, you can overlook the Yellow River, which is magnificent. Especially at dusk, the temple buildings in the sunset are reflected in the Yellow River, and the scenery is beautiful and charming.

Xian ni he Gou Qian nian Zao yuan

Nihegou Village Millennium Jujube Garden is located in Nihegou Village, Jia Zhu Town, the first jujube village in the world, with a total area of 36 mu. It is the only original jujube forest with the longest cultivation history, the largest area and the best quality found in the world so far, and it is also the largest, largest and best-preserved Millennium jujube community in China.

Shenmu Taishan

Tiantai Mountain is located in the southeast of Hejiachuan Town, Shenmu City, 65 kilometers away from the county seat. The mountain is steep and high. Tips: The infrastructure along Huangguang Road from Jiaxian to Fugu is not perfect, and there are few gas stations and service areas along the road. None of the gas stations along expressway have been put into use. Jiaxian and Fugu counties suggest refueling, accommodation, rest and dining.

Fugu County-55km-Qiangtou Township (starting point of Huangguang North Road)

Itinerary: Visit the ancient city of Fuzhou in the morning and taste the local characteristics, cultural customs and residential buildings. Leave Fugu and drive north to Qiangtou Township, which is the northern starting point of Huangguang Road. The boundary pillar at the junction of Shaanxi, Mongolia and Shaanxi provinces, the Lotus Scenic Area and the First Bay of the Yellow River into Shaanxi are all nearby.

Fuzhou ancient city

Fuzhou Ancient City, which was founded in the Five Dynasties, is the most intact stone city in the north of China and a national key cultural relic protection unit. The existing ancient city was built in the early Ming Dynasty. Under the cliff of the ancient city in the south is the surging Yellow River; Caught in the ditch between dew and the stable; It is in the same strain as Gaoliangshan and Wulidun in the north. Relying on the dangerous terrain, the ancient city of Fuzhou is easy to attack and difficult to defend. Its unique terrain and exquisite architectural form are the essence of China Castle. The ancient city of Fuzhou was built between the Tang and Song Dynasties and has undergone many repairs.

Lianhuageng is located in the northeast of Fugu County, with an altitude of more than 100, with the Yellow River in the south and 10 km in the northwest. Information: It is about 55 kilometers from Fugu County to Qiangtou Township along Huangguang Road. The scenery of this road is very distinctive. Roads are often accompanied by the Yellow River and Danxia landforms. There are many parking areas and scenic spots for rest along the way. The gas station has not yet been put into use. If you need to refuel, refuel in Fugu County.

Tip: In addition to having dinner in Fugu, you can also go to the starting point along Huangguang Road, and you can continue northward into Inner Mongolia. It takes about 2 kilometers to reach Xiaozhan Village in Zhungeer Banner, where you can find special catering and accommodation.
