Can group travel flight tickets be refunded?

Group tickets are generally non-refundable. For details, please consult the airline or travel agency you are flying on.

Group air tickets refer to air tickets booked for more than 10 people. Generally, an application must be made in advance. Each airline will confirm the discounted cabin and fare based on the current flight sales and the number of people in the group. Generally, you can apply 7-10 days in advance. You can also apply this month for a discount for a certain time period next month. The closer to the departure time, the less likely you are to apply for a group discount fare.

The refund regulations for group tickets are different from the refund regulations for individual passengers. Each airline will charge corresponding refund fees according to their own regulations; therefore, be sure to carefully understand the relevant regulations for group tickets before confirming the issuance of tickets.

Refund method

1. A refund fee of 10% of the passenger fare will be charged 72 hours (inclusive) before the scheduled departure time of the flight.

2. Within 72 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight and before 12:00 noon (inclusive) on the day before the scheduled departure time of the flight, a refund fee of 30% of the passenger fare will be charged.

3. After 12 noon on the day before the scheduled departure time of the flight and before the scheduled departure time of the flight, a refund fee of 50% of the passenger fare will be charged.

4. After the scheduled departure time of the flight, the ticket will be invalid and the fare will not be refunded.

5. If group passengers holding connecting/round-trip tickets request a refund, the refund fee for each segment will be charged in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1, paragraph 2 or paragraph 3 of this article.

Some group passengers voluntarily request refunds. Unless the ticket has restrictions, the following regulations apply:

1. If the number of passengers traveling on the flight is not less than that specified in the fare, When the minimum group size is reached, the "Voluntary Refund for Group Passengers" regulations will apply.

2. If the number of passengers taking the flight is less than the minimum group size stipulated in the fare, the following regulations shall apply:

1) If all the tickets are unused, the group shall be The total amount of the passenger's original discounted fare is deducted from the total amount of the passenger's ticket calculated based on the normal fare, and then the refund fee stipulated in the "Voluntary Refund for Group Passengers" is deducted. The difference will not be refunded;

2 ) If part of the ticket is unused, the total amount of the discounted fare originally paid by the group passenger shall be deducted from the fare for the group's used flight segments, and then the total amount of the unused flight segments calculated by the regular fare and "group fare" shall be deducted. The refund fee stipulated in "Voluntary Refund by Passengers" will not cover the difference.
