Xiayi county is the most fun there.

Xiayi has beautiful scenery and beautiful environment. Guli City, built in the Warring States Period, is surrounded by a city lake with a water surface of 3,000 mu. Now it has developed into a "Tianlong Lake Park" integrating tourism, leisure, aquatic products and commerce. The county has complete service facilities, and dozens of hotels, businesses and catering service outlets such as Haozu, Kongzu, Licheng and Tianlong are all over the city. The splendid culture of Confucius' ancestral home marks the civilization of Xiayi yesterday. Fiery development zones, industrial and trade zones and factories have sprung up one after another, showing the bright future of Xiayi. General Peng Xuefeng Memorial Hall is located in Balizhuang Village, Dongkongzhuang Township, the county seat, and Cailou Site is located in Cailou Village, southeast of the county seat.

Xiayi county has a long history and outstanding people. Xia Dynasty is a dangerous place, Shang Dynasty belongs to Li Yi, Western Zhou belongs to Song State, Qin belongs to Li County, and Han State, which was called "Xiayi" in the Northern Wei Dynasty. At the end of Jin Dynasty, it was renamed as "Xiayi" after taking the meaning of "City of China", which has continued to this day. Xia Yi is the ancestral home of Confucius, a great thinker, politician and educator. Confucius has visited Li many times to worship his ancestors, and there is a "Confucius Temple" 6 kilometers north of the county seat. Balizhuang in Kongzhuang Township is the martyrdom of General Peng Xuefeng, the commander of the Fourth Division of the New Fourth Army, and there is the "General Peng Xuefeng Memorial Hall". Ping Dang, a famous politician in the Han Dynasty, Julian, a military strategist in the Ming Dynasty, Li Shugu, a famous poet, playwright and calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty, and Zhao Xiwu, a famous modern Chinese medicine practitioner, were all born here.

In September, 2008, Xiayi County successfully passed the evaluation of China Longevity Town Expert Group, becoming the eighth place in China to win the honorary title of "Longevity Town of China" and the only place in Henan Province to win this honor.
