Flying for the first time (nanny-level process)

Overall process

Online ticket purchase → seat selection → arrival at the airport → check-in and check-in → security check → registration → landing → baggage claim.

1, purchase tickets

In official website or third-party platforms of airlines, by contrast, there are many promotions or discounts on the third platform. (I usually go to the most places)

Ticket tips:

It will be cheaper to buy a round-trip ticket at one time.

It is cheaper to buy tickets two months in advance during the tourist season.

Low-cost airlines don't have free meals, and they can't check their luggage for free.

2. Seat selection

Generally, seats will be opened 24 hours in advance, either in the app or under the ticket purchase line.

It is suggested to download the "Navigation Travel" software one day before departure 13: 00, and turn on your mobile phone to choose a seat. Choose a seat on this app and you can get an electronic boarding pass. This way, you can scan the code and pass the security check, but you must print a paper boarding pass if your luggage needs to be checked!

Step 3 arrive at the airport

It is suggested to arrive at the airport two hours in advance for the maiden voyage. Pay attention to which terminal, such as T 1, T2.

Stop check-in 45 minutes before the flight takes off (luggage larger than 20 inches needs to be checked, and you need to bring your ID card to the designated check-in counter to get your boarding pass).

Check-in time: 15- 30 minutes before the plane takes off.

Step 4 check in

If you have an electronic boarding pass, you can go through the security check directly.

If you have no baggage to check, you can go directly to the self-service machine to print your boarding pass. There is no need to queue up, just enter flight information, swipe your ID card, choose a seat and print your boarding pass.

If you need to check your luggage, please follow the sign of the terminal to find the counter, provide your ID card to the staff to print your boarding pass, and put your luggage on the conveyor belt, paying attention to the side handle of the suitcase facing up.

Step 5 pass the security check

The location of the security check is obvious, there are many, any one will do. You can go in after giving your ID card and ticket to the staff for verification.

No kindling (such as lighters).

Mobile phone, umbrella, charging treasure (no more than 2w mA).

Liquid such as contact lens care solution and notebook computer should be taken out and put in the basket for security check. Just put the rest on the conveyor belt.

There is no water, milk, drinks, etc.

Step 6 wait for the plane

After the security check, find the corresponding terminal and wait. The registration code is written on the ticket information. Be careful not to make mistakes! Listen to the radio!

The boarding gate can also be queried on the navigation software.

7. When boarding the plane

Turn off the charging treasure when boarding the plane. The stewardess will remind you to turn off your phone when boarding.

8. find a seat

The seat number will be indicated on the air ticket, and the seat number will also be indicated above the plane seat (the same as the position of the train and high-speed rail), such as 3D and 42F. Each row of seats is arranged according to ABCD FGH JKL.

9. After sitting down

Electronic products can be set in flight mode (some need to turn off their mobile phones to listen to the radio). Some airlines have in-flight wifi (which can be used in flight mode).

Students sitting in emergency exit seats, please don't be curious about the compensation for fiddling with the above equipment (different models range from100,000 to 300,000).

10, in flight

International flights: flight attendants will issue entry cards and declaration forms, which should be filled in English!

Most airlines have plane meals, which take half an hour, and then take away low-cost airlines, which generally do not provide meals.

Remember to pick up your luggage when you get off the plane. You can find the baggage carousel corresponding to your flight on the big screen, and there is also a place to write the baggage carousel on the horizontal side of the navigation cluster.

Do all the necessary procedures → arrive at the transit airport → find the boarding gate of the next flight → board the plane.
