Where is monkey island in Nanwan, Sanya?

Nanwan Monkey Island is located on Nanwan Peninsula, about 14 km south of Lingshui County, Hainan Province, surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is the only island macaque nature reserve in China and even the world.

Because the scenic spot is on the peninsula, if you want to enter Monkey Island, you can choose to take the sightseeing cableway directly to the scenic spot, or take a boat to the pier of the peninsula, and then take the sightseeing bus in the scenic spot to Monkey Island in Nanwan. The time is about 8- 10 minutes.

As soon as you enter the gate, the first thing you will see will be the Monkey Island Sculpture Square. I saw a monkey sitting on Darwin's On the Origin of Species, thinking with a human skull. This sculpture is a replica of a gift sculpture given by Dr. Hammer, a famous American red capitalist, to Lenin, the leader of the former Soviet Union. After watching the sculpture, I came to Huaguoshan Macaque Tourist Area. Under the leadership of the monkey captain, you can also see the monkey's water park-"Bathing Holy Pool", and you can see monkeys diving, swimming or diving in a five-star swimming pool. Macaques full of "humanity" can be seen in the macaque acrobatic performance area.
