Everest Cultural Tourism Festival Shanghai Event Week will be held on September 11

pThe majestic Mount Everest is covered with white clouds, and the turbulent Yajiang River has vast expanse of blue waves. On the morning of the 25th, the 14th Everest Cultural Tourism Festival opened at the Shanghai Stadium in Shigatse, Tibet. It is reported that this Everest Cultural Tourism Festival is divided into two parts: the main venue in Shigatse and the Shanghai event week. The main venue in Shigatse lasts for 7 days. During this period, 14 sub-activities will be held, including special performances by the Shanghai Art Troupe, three major Tibetan operas, investment promotion conferences, and exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage products and specialties.

Shanghai Event Week will hold a Tibetan-style expo at the Shanghai World Expo Center from September 11th to 14th. At that time, the large-scale original ecological indoor drama "Gyantse Imprint", which was mainly created with Shanghai city's construction assistance funds, will premiere in Shanghai. The expo will be composed of five exhibition sections: Thangka Art Exhibition, Ethnic Customs Exhibition, Photo Exhibition of Aid to Tibet Achievements, Photo Exhibition, and Shigatse Tourism Promotion Conference, providing a platform for Shanghai citizens to experience "post-Tibet" culture up close.
