Nanping City Second Sports Games Implementation Plan

With the approval of the municipal government, the Second Nanping Sports Games will be held from September to November 2015. According to the requirements of the municipal government and sports competition rules, and combined with the actual situation of our city, this plan is specially formulated.

1. Purpose of the Games

Promote the extensive development of mass sports activities, accelerate the cultivation of new sports forces, form a city-wide mechanism, improve the level of competitive sports in our city, and enhance the physical fitness of the people quality and promote the all-round development of sports.

The organizing committee consists of the Office, Competition Department, Publicity and Large-scale Events Department, and Administration and Finance Department and Security Department are headed by Li Lu, Lin Yong, Zhang Jianxin, Lin Jingwu and Li Huojin respectively. The Municipal Sports Bureau is responsible for the preparation and organization of the sports games.

3. Games Hosting, Undertaking and Participating Units

The Games are hosted by the municipal government and undertaken by the Municipal Sports Bureau and the county (city) government where the competition area is located. The sports meeting is divided into two parts: the county (city, district) department and the industry system department. The county (city, district) department (participants are young people) is organized into groups from each county (city, district), and the industry system department organizes groups according to the industry system to participate.

4. Competition date and location

The individual competitions of the Games will be held from late September to early November 2015. The competition areas will be located in Nanping urban area and counties with better venue conditions ( city). The opening ceremony of the Games is planned to be held at the Nanping Stadium (track and field) in mid-October 2015, and the closing ceremony will be held in Nanping City in early November.

5. Project Settings

The county (city, district) department has 10 projects including track and field, swimming, weightlifting, martial arts routines, badminton, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, boxing, and taekwondo Contest.

The industry system department has 11 competitions including track and field, swimming, badminton, table tennis, basketball, bridge, air volleyball, Chinese chess, Go, fishing, and tug-of-war.

6. Funding

The Municipal Games will be held in line with the principle of frugality. The funds required for the Games will be solved through a combination of city, county and industry system sharing and market operation. The counties (cities, districts) share: delegation training fees, clothing fees, bonuses, venue repairs and some equipment costs for competition tasks. Each participant pays 100 yuan for room and board per day.

Industry systems and participation fees are borne by yourself.
