Yangma Island Tourist Resort Attraction introduction:

It is located in the Yellow Sea 9 kilometers north of Muping City, and is connected to the land by a cross-sea causeway.

According to legend, in 219 BC, the First Emperor of Qin passed by this place on his eastward tour. He saw the rich water and grass on the island and regarded it as a treasure. He planned to raise war horses here and named it the Royal Horse Raising Island. The island has beautiful scenery, pleasant climate and distinct four seasons. It has been developed into a provincial tourist resort. In addition to natural landscapes such as blue sky, blue sea, and beaches, there is also a racecourse that can accommodate 10,000 spectators. Prize-winning horse racing is held all day every Saturday and Sunday. The competition adopts internationally advanced facilities such as automatic starting gates, camera tracking and monitoring, end-point judging machine, large-area color screen images and digital displays.
