Shanghai

The Shanghai Museum was built in the Shanghai Library on Nanjing Road in 1935. Yuyuan Old Town God Temple

Yuyuan Garden, located at No. 132 Anren Street, Nanshi District, Shanghai, was built in the 38th year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1559 AD). The garden layout has the characteristics of Wuyue architecture. It is well preserved and covers an area of ??more than 40 acres. It has always been known as "urban forest". There are 48 scenic spots in the park, including the Big Rockery, Wanhua Tower, Dianchun Hall, Huijing Tower, Yulinglong, Deyue Tower, and Inner Garden. Among them, Dianchuntang is the northern headquarters of the Xiaodao Hui rebel army.

The site of the “No.1” Conference of the Chinese Communist Party

The site of the “No.1” Conference of the Chinese Communist Party is at No. 76-78 Xingye Road, Shanghai, which was formerly Wangzhi Road in the French Concession. No. 106, is a national key cultural relic protection unit. These are two two-story buildings with brick and wood structures and Shikumen that have the style of typical residential buildings in Shanghai in the 1920s. On July 23, 1921, the party founding meeting representing 53 Communist Party members across the country was held in the living room of Building 76.

Duolun Road Celebrity Street

Duolun Road is 550 meters long and was a gathering place for cultural celebrities in the 1930s. Among them are the location of the Kuomintang's Songhu Garrison Headquarters, the Zuolian League Site, the Zuolian Memorial Hall, the Chinese Arts University, the Shanghai Art Drama Club, the former site of the Gongfa Cafe, the former residences of top ten cultural celebrities such as Lu Xun, Qu Qiubai, Guo Moruo, and Mao Dun. The residences of Kuomintang generals Bai Chongxi, Zhang Zhijiang, and Tang Enbo, as well as municipal-level protected buildings such as Hongde Hall and Kong Xiangxi’s former residence. Zhi'anfang and Yong'an Lane beside the road are Shikumen lanes with the characteristics of the 1930s.

The Bund

The Bund is a famous landscape in Shanghai. It is located on the west bank of the Huangpu River, starting from Waibaidu Bridge in the north to Shiliupu Pier in the south, with a total length of more than ten kilometers. There are more than 50 buildings with different architectural styles scattered here, so the Bund is called the "Architecture Museum of All Nations", among which the HSBC Building is the most famous. Opposite the Bund is the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone in Pudong, which is quite similar to Manhattan in New York.
