Lakes north of Huaihe River in Anhui Province

1. Wuhetuo Lake. It is a provincial nature reserve with abundant water resources. It is the largest pollution-free freshwater lake in northern Anhui. Many rare birds come here for winter or migration, mainly including national first-class protected animals such as white crane, white crane, white stork, black stork and great bustard, and national second-class protected animals such as gray crane, mandarin duck and white-tailed harrier.

2. Jiaogang Lake in Huainan. It is located between the Huaihe River and the West Feihe River, separated from the Huaihe River by a dike. In the lake area, water comes from Nagusha River, Gudun River, Zhuogou, Huashuijian, Guangouwa, Dingjiawa, Hutianwa, and the central ditch, leaving the Jiaogang Lake in the convenience ditch in the east and entering the Huaihe River. Tourism development has been carried out in the lake area, and Jiaogang Lake Film and Television City has been built on the northeast coast.

3. Huaiyuan Sifang Lake. Sifang Lake is rich in carp, reeds and crabs. Huaiyuan county has developed the Sifang Lake, which is an AAA scenic spot. Scenic spots include water sightseeing area, Huaihong Xinhe Ecological Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Shuihai, Pan Xin modern agriculture and new rural sightseeing area.

4. Nanhu Lake in Huaibei. Located in Lieshan District, Huaibei City, Anhui Province, Nanhu National Urban Wetland Park is one of the top ten national urban wetland parks. There are 18 scenic spots, such as long dike Yingshan, Ludi Qiusheng, Yuanxi Boalu, Fu Fu Tingtao, Yanglin Wenfeng, Cedar Lawn, Liudi Fangxun and Huyun Yihuai, which are built in the open space on both sides of the road around the lake.

5. Fuyang Bali River. Balihe Scenic Area belongs to an inland lake, located in the transition zone from warm temperate zone to subtropical zone, with four distinct seasons. Balihe Scenic Area was awarded the title of "National AAAAA Scenic Area" by the National Tourism Administration, which is mainly divided into five scenic spots: Bird Forest, West District, East District, Twelve Flowers Island and Ming and Qing Garden.
