The best place for a day trip to Qianwei
Luocheng Ancient Town. Liangting Street, the main street of the ancient town, is commonly known as "Chuangxing Street" and was first built in the first year of Chongzhen (1628) in the Ming Dynasty. To this day, this surviving old street still retains part of the humanistic features of old Sichuan culture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The architectural layout of Qianweiluo City is extremely unique. The whole town is located on the top of a mountain, and the streets and houses are like a ship. The reason for the construction of this small town is very interesting. According to legend, during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, a foreign scholar came here and saw that the local people were suffering from lack of water and their life was extremely inconvenient. If water is needed to make a river, Luocheng can build a boat. If a boat can travel on water, there must be water." The locals actually believed that renovating buildings was a good way to solve the problem of water shortage, so they donated money to build this world-famous building. A rare town. This boat-shaped ancient town is more than 2,000 meters long and about 650 meters wide. The main street runs north-south, narrow at both ends and wide in the middle. The streets undulate like a deck in the waves; the theater building in the street towers like a high sail. The Lingguan Temple at the end of the street looks like the cabin of a ship. There is a row of corridors on both sides of the street about 200 meters long and 6 meters wide, like a boat canopy, also known as "Chun Hall Street". The architectural layout of Luocheng attracted the attention of experts at home and abroad. In 1983, relevant Australian authorities built a "China Tourism Satellite City" in the style of Yiluocheng in Melbourne.
